There have been several occasions where, in a group of 5 or more of your men, I have only gotten simple engagement notices, and nothing more. You just show up, and shoot. It's no fun for anyone who isn't actually a Reaver. I realize the stipulations of it being a merc faction, but, still...just put in a bit more effort with the RP (the ACTUAL, TEXTUAL RP), rather than the shooting.

Some people have. Some people haven't. I didn't have many enjoyable chats with the =CR= when I was on my LaBrise. Had plenty of them when I was on my Reaver. Sometimes you get a book, sometimes you get a bat.
Any and all malicious allegations regarding the =CR= require hard evidence to back them up. If none is provided alongside the allegation, it is deemed un-reliable and as such, made of fluff.

I would say at this juncture that the Reavers are a mercenary faction. They will no doubt experience more complaints than non-merc factions. Most mercs do not talk, they shoot after all.
After having crawled through this bitchfight, I'd like to point something out, based on the comments provided here:
official factions are expected to set a roleplay example for the rest of the server and official faction members have been warned (and sanctioned, but can't remember that name) for not providing sufficient rp prior to pvp. precedent I could remember
Based on that you might consider to enhance your verbal usage a little bit. Nobody is asking you to write down novels though. And also mind that I'm only writing this on the hearsay provided in here.
Oh, and you really have a talent to make it look like you have a personal issue with the entirety of the 101st, Dusty. Not just in this topic. However, since I don't know you I'm not the one to judge if it's true or not.
On a positive note: Having an alternative to the Mandos is indeed nice, especially if you are on the receiving end of Mando-guns, and Samura has been discussing to reopen our bounty board if we ever get into the mood of doing all the paperwork again.

I don't think we have an issue with our communication. I think what we bring to the table is in line with what is expected. I think that it's in line with what we receive. I would forward a policy of being better, at the least, than the other guy but I don't think it's needed.
Besides. I mentioned on page one that if anyone had anything concrete to share that they should send it along to me asap. In return I've gotten finger pointing, rumor mongering, hearsay and second hand accusations. It's tiresome.
No one wins when detractors insist on perpetrating ideas without personal experience.

My conduct has not indicated that I have a personal issue.
If the 101st has come up a lot in this thread it would be because of the 9 people who have repeatedly forwarded their antipathy for the Reavers 5 of them have come from the 101st. But I still don't care about you guys beyond addressing your concerns as best I'm able.
But I didn't bring it to you. It was brought to me. That isn't indicative of a personal issue on my end.

Emphasis on "entirety" in that line please. I don't really care who started it, nor can it be accurately tracked down since noone knows your skypelogs. I assume the 101st-bank joke wasn't helpful either, nor was the fact that you decided to add me into your bad-guys list while I made two faction-related points, one pro and one contra, with the contra-point additionally being pointed out to be based on hearsay;)
And seeing that you accepted Ross into your ranks is indeed another score on the positive side since it cuts into any reputation of being a club of super-elitist pvp-whores. Sorry Ross, but you admitted yourself that you suck at PvP :D
So, now that makes 2:1 on my score-board (the 4th point is a mere observation that had nothing to do with the Reavers). Mind to move me over to green? :nyam:

Haha, well, I'll be honest. I think you called me out on just about every point well accurately.
This thread has included a lot of hearsay and baseless accusations that I can't -do- anything with. As such I viewed it with a great deal of hostility... I just know a lot of the true stories behind what people are complaining about and I simply become mad when I see claims made which simply aren't true.
End result was, after three days and a gosh darn lot of posts, I ended up lashing out at you with little due justification. I apologize for that. Thank you for giving me a dry look and bringing me back to my senses.
Mang's also a lot of fun to have around ^_^.
Also hang the chart. I just threw that up there after the same six people were yelling that we blew and citing the fact that there were so many posts in the thread claiming we blew as evidence. It helped to skyline the reality of the situation. But I'll give you a slot in the meh and (sun) to keep things even.

Seeming as some of the other people who are on this list gave mixed opinions as well, it doesn't exactly prove that good old Dusty is as indifferent as he would claim towards the 101st.
