another day, another patrol. this time, the Harbinger and the HFGB-Mentu were on a routine patrol in california. we proceeded to minor to destroy a liberty navy patrol. we finished them without any problems, and saw LSFThewise,LSFBlackdog and DW-Suzanna in california.
we guessed they may be at mojave. we proceeded to mojave and they came on our scanners. upon confimation that the bounty hunter was no threat, we moved on to engage the lsf forces.
the battleship was engaged and removed without any evident problems. the LSF fighter and the bounty hunter were engaging the harbinger. the bounty hunter was paying way too much attention in the wrong direction and was killed by the Mentu. the LSF fighter tried to dodge and fight, and managed to evade for a bit longer, but was killed by Harbinger.
after this, we returned to vespucci for repairs and rest.
I am currently having trouble with my optical implants. Therefore I've transferred my command of the HFB-Vircruz to Comm Officer Sparks while I am down in sickbay getting my implants adjusted. I will be out of action for the next few days.
i would have thought that the humiliation the LSF had to face by my gunboat and the harbinger would have been enough. i was wrong. the LSF gathered more troops for another assualt upon us, to gain any honour they could, so that they could brag about one tiny victory. indeed.
within a time space of 10 minutes, i have everyone scrambled out of bed, in their ships and with me in space in magellan. our initial forces:
[HF]-HFGB-Mentu, [HF]-HFGB-Smash, [HF]-Photuin, Harbinger, Ultimate-Warrior, [AW]-skytryggr(ooc: soz if i got name wrong. aint sure.), (NovaPG)-StarScream .
the LSF had numerous ships on their side (ooc: again i dont remember the names involved. sorry) our ships made way to the california system, but before we could move into calfornia, the LSF moved into magellan. we engaged. to start off with the LSF ships were highly disorganised, like it was some tea-party.
however, due to the situation, i ordered all ships to move back to the freeport, with the Harbinger leading the way, since he is the biggest and would have trouble going via the trade-lanes. then, an AW cruiser jumped in from california to assist, and moments later, the Ultimate warrior. unfortunately, our first loss came as the ultimate warrior was picked upon by a rhienland cruiser and all the fighters. everyone else moved back to the freeport to make a proper stand.
few of our ships were out of botts/batts/ but we didnt run like wimps. we never do. the LSF held their ground at the JG, waiting for the Malikna to come and assist them against us. we may have been in a bit of a hard situation, but thats when the NovaPG flagship, the Kana-Keiku showed up on our scanners. by this time a SA gunboat had joined the fray.
it came towards us, maybe as a 'distraction', and thats when all the LSF fighters moved in. big mistake. taking on the Kana-Keiku head on while it was pouring flak at them was the biggest mistake, not to mention that they challenged the HF in the first place. but this time (NovaPG)-StarScream had mad his way down from chugoku to aid us as well. we had more than enough forces to deal with this LSF scum coming our way.within a short amount of time, the LSF fighters, were picked off one by one and eliminated. to add to our numbers, the [HF]-HFGB-Silverfire logged on at this time to aid us as well.
all this time the Malinka sat at a distance watching the scene. and, when he saw everyone had him selected as the final target, he turned around and fled. we got a few crucial hits in, and it hurt the malinka. but by the time most of us were close enough to kill, the Malinka docked at the freeport shamefully.
this has been a successful defence of our system. excellent work gentlemen. you all have earned yourself a place in the bar. again, all drinks on me. dont empty out the bar like last time.

Fun little night it was. We engaged the SA/LSF outside the Tradelane to LA, and Brick took down the Bluenose. The AW came to assist and took down =LFS=Liquid. We all went home, got repaired, got drunk. Fun time.

So, you decided to attack independent pirates, uh? I was on Magellan without making any harm to any hacker - I was indeed helping you to get rid of some Bounty Hunter scums. Then the member with ID: Leon asked me to cut my engines, I obeyed and then he just shooted and destroyed my ship, without talking anything neither giving me an opportunity to avoid combat. If a group of traders didn't rescue me in my eject pod, I would probably be dead now.
Be aware that I'm STILL an Independent pirate, but if I get only one more attack from you without getting a chance to avoid combat (like an asking to leave a system first), I'm gonna ally myself with your worst pirate enemies.
