whilst i appreciate your sentiment 'no offense' - im not exactly sure who would be offended at your removal of a mass murdering dictator?? - things like that have a paradox - your grandmother meets a different man, you are not born, therefore you cant go back in time and change history, and so history is not changed, and you actually didnt do anything.

i'd go back to the viking era, where the cross bow hadnt been invented, nor the long bow, and i'd 'invent' them. I'd also 'discover' moveable type, and printing, and 'discover' america and australia, which i'd name after myself. i'd 'invent' hydroelectric power and the acid-cell battery, removing the need to burn oil at all, and i'd invent the 'sammich', so it was named after me, and not an inveterate gambler who refused to leave the gaming tables for a meal.

to pay for it all, i'd take a list of all the solar and lunar eclipses, and travel around the globe, betting huge sums of money that i couldnt make the sun/moon go out,and then travel around collecting the cash.

I'd go back to the Antedeluvian era when mankind had the technology to move around stones so big we can't do it with todays technology.

First I would go to the future to get some super high-tech weapons and armor. Then I would go back to 1945-1949 China and assassinate Mao Zedong and wage war with the Republic of China Armed Forces against the Chinese Communist Party and the People's Liberation Army (which is where the weapons and the armor come in).

The hard part is making sure my parents emigrate to the U.S. so that my life doesn't get altered too much.
