Let's hope it is online soon ... I'm imagining rookie loldentes with Freelancer IDs and a horrible mixture of weapons asking "wher 2 by a nuu ship" in local chats ... and no one can help them:D

They're updating it for 4.86.

That happens slowly ... take a look at the Liberty Battlecruiser, it's already updated just as I wanted to show someone that it's quite gunlike! *sighs* anyway ^^

First it was temporarily unavailable, now it is 'not found'. Someone clogged the PC with porn and POOF went the, err, important sites:P

Perhaps we should have the option of being able to download the site as an archive in-case this happens again. Perhaps a stand-alone archive or an archive we can open with a specific program......?
Weebly for instance allows you to do that for your sites. I don't know if it's possible to download it as an archive for those who DON'T own the site. Anyway, it's a thought.

The DUSA wiki would be a good enough resource for where to buy ships and guns and things like that. I've personally updated the Armor section on it too.

Of course the player faction data wouldn't be any good for anyone on GC but the NPC faction data should be very similar.

Yeah probably. But it could be made into a simple program like the Freelancer Companion (current version is 2.02 by the way). Updates would be easier then. it will just be a matter of downloading the update :)
