I only came in on the tail end of the event, but I have some thoughts...

The problem I found with this event is that there is no incentive for the BAF to do anything besides avoid fighting until the KNF and friends went away (what else is new? :rolleyes:) and farm low level NPCs in remote areas away from population centers. It might have increased activity, but I was very astonished to find the BAF nowhere near anyplace where I thought KNF NPCs spawned, and instead found them secluded, behind LD-14, farming low level Dragons, which can be done even while under fire from an enemy presence because they're such a low level. It was really just a measure of time invested for the BAF, while for the KNF it was a mixture of time invested, skill, and time zones.

I don't really think that was the intention of the event, but really if the event were to be repeated verbatim for the other side, I personally would just sit in either "The Gauntlet" between the Edinburgh JG and LD-14 and kill low level BPA NPCs or around Planet Waterloo killing low level Crusaders while evading the BAF shooting at me.

I think something similar would be cool, but I would much rather see an event with a sort of challenge to it which draws people to population centers where they will come into conflict. For instance, stating that only Chimeras would count would be a good start (NPCs of level 15+?). Adding incentive by giving multipliers to Gunboats, Destroyers, and Battleships would be an excellent addition as well (if possible). Another cool idea would be "Cutting off Supply Lines" by destroying so many Samura and Kishiro transports in Tau-31, Tau-29, and Leeds. These things would hopefully draw more players into the population centers around TLs, JGs, and bases where they can interact with other players and harder NPCs to make the event something over than "Well I shot Dragons for 3 hours today where no one in their right mind would look for me, yay we're winning!"

Well this week I have fought at Sokes and T31 every evening and shot dragons behind LD14 because battleship York said so. Different experiences, or maybe just different timezones.
