To all Dublin miners and escorts. I have received multiple reports that elements of the Mollies intend to launch an agressive campaign, supported by mercenary forces. It is targeted against the Bretonian "zone" within Dublin, consisting roughly of Essex, Graves, the Gate and the H4 (east) gold field, and seems to be mainly fueled by Molly suspicions of Bounty Hunter Guild assaults being funded by the Bretonian Armed Forces. If at all possible, concentrate mining efforts outside of this area, as we do not want to be caught in the crossfire. As it stands, our agreement with the MMC remains in effect, however the MMC itself seems quite effective in terms of ore extraction. Recommend focusing IMG goldmining operations on the G2 (northeast) field, unless field conditions dictate otherwise. The north side of the H4 field should also be a viable mining area.

This is Comms Operator, Office of IMG Dublin Operations, Veronica Ryan speaking:
1. Nomad Vessels engaged, IMG Defence Wing lost
2345 CET IMG Defence Wing engaged an Nomad gunship and another smaller enemy vessel in combat, following orders given by the Directors of IMG to solve the Nomad issue near Hood.
The strength of the Nomad gunboat was underestimated and all IMG Defence ships were lost as a consequence. IMG lost 4 VHF and 1 Bomber, several light and one serious injured pilot are the result of this fight.
Until requested reinforcements arrive, HMS Carmarthen agreed to step up security in the Hood perimeter to avoid any further attacks by a nomad force that IMG fighting units could not overcome. Considering the absence of IMG-owned capital warships in Dublin, this was the only chance to secure the perimeter against Nomad attacks.
2. Rules of Engagement on Nomad Vessels: Destroy when near Hood
Every Nomad activity in the IMG Zone of influence is to be considered a threat. The IMG does not actively support or passively tolerate Nomad activities. In case of gunboat-sized enemy units, call Mollys or BAF for assistance. These ships have excessive destruction power that was greatly underestimated in the first engagement.
3. Ms. Anna McCarthy does not work for IMG any more
Anna McCarthy has been relieved from her contracts with Mr. Jack Henderson and IMG. She is free to go after the IMG transponder registration of her ship has been removed.
4. Status of the injured in Battle 2345 CET
Minor injuries were inflicted in most cases.
I regret to inform you that Mr. Jack Henderson was injured seriously in the destruction of his ship after the attack on Nomad vessels, 2345 CET. His condition is serious but not life threatening. He is being transferred to an undisclosed location for further treatment.

It is clear that the SCRA no longer care about the IMG in Dublin anymore and have used open Aggression in my patrol of the system earlier today. With a warning that states For their retarded leader, then openly attacked. and here is a Photo of my scanners and ship, prier to it's destruction.
I advise, IMG everywhere to now be on your guard, the SCRA have no need for allies or NAP *Non Aggression Pact* With anyone anymore from what it looks like. I advise we treat them with well, weapons instead of words... They caught me off guard once, but it won't happen again. Oh yeah one more thing. That VPS Prick keeps getting within the 10K range of hood, i had to tell him more than 10 times today for him to leave, but he does not like to listen. Should I start using force ? Let me know as soon as possible.

This report on a radical shift in SCRA behaviour coincides with a transmission received from one of their capital vessels, suggesting there has been some sort of insurgency among their ranks. I am trying to get more intel on this - so that we can better identify the vessels that are hostile. It is unusual for the Coalition to end up acting this hostile toward us.
I will post more intel here as it comes in. For the present, treat every SCRA vessel with caution, and show no quarter if hostilities ensue. Basically, engage at your discretion.
As for the VPS mercenary. If you have reason to believe he is trouble, give him a stern warning to leave Hood's sensor range, due to him being unwelcome. If he does not move off after that, you're free to remove him by force. Make sure you keep a record of having warned the person, so that he can't claim to be attacked without reason.

Oh dear, oh dear, where to start.
Ehm... okay. This is Julia Morrow, I am a newly contracted IMG hauler in an advanced train. Today we did a 4 hauler convoy to Liberty. On our way back we were stopped by a Lane Hacker... callsign Chaser. He shot at the Interspace Trasporter that was tagging along. Our escort, a non-IMG mercenary, attacked. Up to now it would have been easy to explain.
But then an IMG escort arrived, Alice.Fox, and assisted our Merc and the Interpace.
The Hacker retreated and got in contact with me, as I was the only IMG Core pilot. He threatened:
> that he would from now on extort all IMG ships
> that Freeport 4 would be attacked
> that all Hackers will be hostile towards the IMG
Now... this sounded all very much over the top. But still, he was very angry and perhaps there is some truth to it.
I just thought I should let you know.

This is Brigid O'Shaunessy, reporting from T23 Java.
We, John Barnett and myself, just shot down an SCRA after BHG Core reported that SCRA turned against them after the last Outcast had been shot down. Worried by this report, we chased one of their fighters to Tau 37.
We realized he was a supporter of a leader names Volkhan, who he hailed often.
There was something strange about this fight that I want to warn you about:
The pilot didn't seem to be in full posession of basic instincts like preservation of his own life. He fired shieldbusters and then launched unguided torpedos, I assume Novas, point blank at me. A near hit - I guess a mine exploded the torpedo - took me almost out. He laughed, while his won ship was shredded halfway in the same blast.
He was absolutely suicidal!! We took him down, after having understood how to fight him.
In the short talk before I realized some strange aspects:
He said things against Volkhan, like: "You will pay Volkhan"... and the we heard a buzzing sound, then some cries of pain and then followed by "You will die, in the name of Volkhan". There were 3 situations in which the enemy pilot changed his mind after a buzzing sound and a crie or moan of pain. Every time he uttered a phrase in total compliance with Volkhan.
I think this is bad news.
And you should know.
I'm glad I did not run into this torpedo suicide trap.
Be careful out there! Something is definitely wrong.

Subject: SCRA, and mixed convoys
First, on the topic of mixed (not purely IMG) convoys. When running those, you can expect the Lane Hackers, as well as other factions we generally have a good standing with, to frown on those. In these situations I recommend to simply tell the non-IMG transport to bribe the attacker away - and ask the attacker to take into account that the non-IMG transport is part of an IMG convoy. IMG is not a convoy escort service for whoever has bought our ore.
The only exceptions to this I can see are for ALG, Gateway and Colonial Republic transports, seeing as these are our direct partners or allies. If this Interspace captain wishes to enjoy the security the Guild offers, he or she can apply to become a member of the Guild. Simple as that.
I'll try and patch things up with the Lane Hackers. Shouldn't be anything a few credits and an explanation will not solve.
On the SCRA... I've had multiple reports of erratic behaviour, not just from the Guild. They seem to be struggling with some kind of civil war, where one called "Volkhan" has seized political and military control. This new leader seems quite brutal, using electrical shocks to force convicts to pilot suicide bombers. It was likely those kinds of craft the Core encountered. In light of this atrocious behaviour, combined with an overt attack on the Guild by forces loyal to this Volkhan, I'm suggesting the Guild to side against Volkhan and his cronies.
When encountering these suicide bombers in the field... My suggestion is to destroy the craft, preferably by a shot to the cockpit, and end the occupants miseries.

Sir, on behalf of Mr. Henderson, I was ordered to tell you that the Hacker situation has been resolved. A small payment will be made and IMG has not to fear any retribution or complications. The matter is regarded as resolved by the Hacker leadership and - as far as the pilots are concerned - this will for sure not happen again.
The Interspace Captain has already enlisted into IMG successfully. And the lesson has been well-learnt by the new pilots. Mr. Henderson made sure about that himself.

This is probably of little interest to many of you, but it has come to my attention that the BMM have -somehow- obtained data on the joint IMG-Zoner mining drone project, which my department have been working on for quite some time. Our prototype, Mining_drone_alpha just sent us back images of an exact replica of itself bearing BMM identification markers and IFF, rather tactlessly (and no doubt mockingly) identifying itself as mining.drone.beta. I am quite simply outraged at this blatant sedition.
Of prime concern: this clone has resulted in a number of cases of mistaken identity, causing our units and their accompanied haulers to be identified as BMM. I fear this could have repercussions, sooner rather than later, for our units becoming caught in the crossfire the Molly-Betonia conflict, which again seems to have flared up of late.
Whilst this is a great test-bed for our drones, I would very much like to keep this project on budget. Which will be difficult with these knock-offs undermining our work. I intend to issue a reward for the decommissioning of this unlicensed mining.drone.beta (BMM IFF) and any other unlicensed clones, adaptations and/or imitations of our mining drones within possession of the BMM.
However, not being a particularly active member of the guild out in the 'field', I do not wish to cause any unnecessary hardship on the rest of my guild. If this is bounty is an issue I can arrange an alternative, more discrete method of disposal.

Subject: Drones, and mining operations
Mr. Hughes, I see no issue with posting a reward for the termination of a device which is your intellectual property. Personally I'd much rather see it handled through the Bretonian courts, but knowing BMM that is likely going to be a dead end. Just be sure to be very specific on this contract: The automated mining plaform clone, only. This should prevent any unneccesary loss of life.
Alternatively, you could apply a minor transponder to your own drone to prevent confusion, so that it squawks "mining_drone_alpha-IMG" or "img_drone_alpha" as callsign.
Furthermore, to all miners, both core guild and otherwise.
It has come to my attention some of you have, given the mining slump, diverted to fields such as the Chiemsee copper field in Munich, or the Cobalt field to the far west of Leipzig station in Dresden. Fields like these in systems the IMG does not have any base in, are not claimed by the Guild. If you are found there, this could lead to legal action against you from the field owners and you will be on your own to face the consequences of being there. In short, if the field's not at least partwise ours, don't use it. For clarification I will list a full listing of fields we can work in (with more being developed as our exploration wing extends further, to discover unknown systems):
- Tau 23: All Niobium deposits. Beryllium deposit in the south is still claimed by BMM, projections are they will attempt to stripmine this before withdrawing from the system due to KNF pressure.
- Tau 37: All available deposits
- Tau 39: All available deposits. Be aware the yields are low.
- Orkney: All available deposits. Be aware the yields are low.
- Tau 31: Available deposits of water and oxygen.
- Tau 29: Oxygen deposits in the north of the system. Be aware that the Hydrocarbon deposits are claimed by Samura.
- Dublin: All available gold fields. If in the Arranmore field, be sure to have Molly permits before mining.
- Cambridge: Both available Beryllium fields. Cardiff is our own, the large field north of Cambridge is not an exclusive claim by us.
- Magellan: All available resources.
- Kansas: All available resources. This system has, of yet, no claims posted.
- Omega 3: Water from the Wilkes ice field around Aland. Be aware the Hydrocarbon deposits are claimed by Daumann and BMM, respectively.
- Omega 7: All available fields in the system. Daumann and Kruger have unilaterally declared ownership of part of these fields: The Guild does at present not recognize any of these claims.
