Both of these shown are good. Perhaps use the first as a light and the second as a heavy varient? Give people some options in the lineup. Two freelancer gb designs would let people choose the ship that fits their style.

I like this model. I espeicaly like the hollowed out interior arch. The sharp angles are good, as I like to see those in a capital ship (or an almost-capital ship) I also like that. However, about the very front of the ship; the bow connects to the top hull at an interior angle less than 90 degrees. As a rule of thumb, all places where faces meet should have interior angles between 90 and 180 degrees, in order to prevent that annoying jaggedy-edge pixel thing that happens. In other words, I would suggest adding another face there, just a small one, in order to keep the model smooth. Then again, people hardly ever see the very front of their ship, so it could be perfectly fine. I'm not sure if you understand what I mean by the 90 to 180 thing, its very hard to explain without visuals. Anyway, wonderful model, love it (as always) and love you (as always).

Let it burn.

It feels more like an IMG, or even Hacker design.
But as for me - the model does not fit CTE line.
You should try a bit rounded and Eagle-like vessel.

Yeah, give that to him. I want the first one. Beautiful, but I suppose a +1 for rounded edges for the CTE brand.

I'd sell off everything else I owned for that one, and fly nothing else.:ylove:

Edit: Also, the aft dorsal and ventral bits. The parts which look like war nacells from a Trek universe ship. If CTE, perhaps replace those with proper fins similar to the Roc?

The problem with troubleshooting is that real trouble shoots back.

Not bad work, the first model post has some texture warping and blurs but it looks pretty good design wise.
I have always wanted a light gunboat that freelancers could get their hands on, I mean the Kusari Explorer is good and all but it is not the kind of gunboat I want for my freelance merc.
