The brutal lag is brutal.
I can barely walk a few paces before everything stops or god knows how long.
The game runs on a very very silly method of multiplayer movement. Instead of how typical FPS games roll, the movement is done server side.
FPS's move clientside, then send the co-ords quickly to the server to check out etc. If something is wrong, the person is flung back to where they were.
In this, your movements are sent to the server first before you move.
Any packet loss makes that system completely break, which is what has happened to it.

Yeah I've mentioned that to them, because it's very aggravating at times. The server seems to be having trouble at the moment, once it clears up, the movement is very fluid despite their questionable server-side movement method
Well, doesn't look like it's going to happen. every time I launch the game, it does the cinematic thingys of flying past stars, then I get an error report =\
I ran out of time last night before I got to finish creating my race of 50-foot carnivorous fanged two-headed six-armed chicken monsters.

Treewyrm Wrote:all in all the conclusion is that disco doesn't need antagonist factions, it doesn't need phantoms, it doesn't need nomads, it doesn't need coalition and it doesn't need many other things, no AIs, the game is hijacked by morons to confuse the game with their dickwaving generic competition games mixed up with troll-of-the-day.

What error were you getting? I'll look into a fix, or at least report the problem
Hmmm that's not a very informative error...
Could you run Dxdiag and take a screenshot of the System and Display tab info?
I'll show it to the others and see if we can figure out what's going on here.
