1. no CD;s on non gurad NCP, and maybe some beeper in enterance to gurad systems with some "warning"

2. more Freelancer Bases like Barier Gate, with civilian ships, and more equipment

3. Make independent system - trully independent, like Berning, Hudson, Cortez, Magellan ect, or ad least make neutrall TL - like in Gallia.

Changes needed:

1. I don't know if this can be done, but it would be so good if we could choose what type of enemy we go against in a mission.
Only fighters, bombers, gunboats, cruisers etc.
It's so annoying when you bump into 5 Osiris battlesips while you are in a fighter, and in the contrary it's pretty boring when all you have to do is to sit in your cruiser, and just pick targets that die in 2 seconds.

2. Bomber guns.
I see that there was a large argument about bombers & their guns.
The ships are okay, but those guns need to be replaced. Either make better ones, or just go back to fighter guns. Since those bomber cannons arrived i hate to fly any bomber(though i have to sometimes).

3. Weapon classes in ships.
It's pretty annoying(for me at least), when you punch up your ships infocard, & see that 2 out of 6 of your hardpoints is just class 9, and your sitting in a class 10 ship.
You have 4 of the same CODENAMEs, could buy another 2, but can't because that 2 remaining hardpoints are only suitable for class 9 weapons.
Why can't those hardpoints be all the same?


Some ideas:

1. Reactors for ships.
I've seen this in another mod(don't know which one), but i liked the idea.
Just like armor modifies your HP, Reactors modify your energy for guns.
The more sophisticated and pricey the reactor is, the more energy you have.

2. Custom ship skins.
There are more than 1 ships, that many factions can use.
My idea is, to make custom skins for those ships, and make the rule that 1 skin is only usable by certain factions.

There is no point in expecting people to read the rules, if they can not read the rules. such a simple fix could result in 50% drop in sanction reports and general lolwuttery on the server.

2. Delete. Gallia.

3. remove mini razors and SNAC, and buff current torpedos x2 or x3

4. change the starting planet to random not just penny. with appropriate ship and starting credits for the region.

5. Buffing police factions universally.
Police Scanners with 6k cargo scan range. Police specific weapons available and commands.

1- biger ships shouldn't move if smaller ones ram them
2- Npc won't use cruise distraptors
3- biger varaiety on missions on both payment and ships you face

Remove SNAC, but make bomber cannons into weapons that can actually do something, so instead of having 4 peashooters and a big sniping weapon, make bomber guns the main battering ram on bombers.


Nerf GB turrets slightly, change their refire to 3.03, lower projectile speed, and slow down turret rotation speed so it's a bit harder to hit snubs with them, therefore giving GB Solaris a purpose. Also, nerf GB shields, buff hull.


Buff moneymaking, this is a game, not a second job.

Change the power generation method from the power core to the engine

Change the thruster system from an unlimited to finite fuel

remove class 6 bomber weapons, instead use 2-4 fighter torp slots + any class 5 turrets (would need a rebalance of MR)

I guess that's 4.


And for grins, try and ninja character lvl based on how much time spent on that character rather than just strait up money. something like 1 lvl for every 2 hours, with possible 10+ hours per lvl for anything above lvl 80.
