New Faction Concept

I have been contemplating Rheinland space as my first choice to field a pirate pilot in, and I don't think I ought to pass up the opportunity to get in on the ground floor of something like this. So consider me a volunteer.
I really like the idea of hardcore ship and weapons restrictions too. I think it's kind of cheesy to find nomad cannons on every ship that a pilot and his monkey are flying.
I also like the emphasis on a fighter wing. I am really dying for some cooperative wingman oriented combat actions.
And best of all from my standpoint: the Unioners are going to be the underdogs. The taste of triumph will be all the sweeter.
I'm all in to make a full go of it.
I am a competent writer as well, so I would be thrilled to work on writing up some of the details that will be coming down the pike as this develops.
Looking forward to cracking some Rheinlander heads together with you!
I can also potentially bring about 5 million credits with me. It is on deposit with CCC right now, so it may take some time to get my hands on it.

Great to hear!! The money issue is in the second step of the plan at the moment in fact. First of all what we need are willing volunteers ready for sticking up to the hardcore Roleplay we will produce. And being the underdogs will be an exciting feature of our formation if we really manage to come into existence. Well, having one of our primary enemies satisfied with a possible existence of our own makes me more than glad. I would also like to see the opinion of some Military members in here about the concept.

The reason why this faction will work is obviously because of the well written and exceptionally simple RP description. I love how there's nothing fancy; you aren't some crazy mutants, or aliens, or gods descended from above. You don't have any real ultimatum, other than to just be a group of simple pirate/semi-terrorists. It's perfect, and if I had more time I would certainly devote it to such a great opportunity for some good ol' fashioned RP.

I believe you when you say that you will limit your troops to only using Unioner weapons and ships, only because I think you understand that using anything else would destroy the faction (as it has for so many others.)

The only thing that worries me is that you might become RM's punching bag. RM's list of PC faction enemies is not incredibly long, and the one's that have been around have regretfully died out. There's going to be a lot of conflict there, and in most cases it probably won't end well for the Unioners (no offense meant, but overall RM will not only have superior numbers, but superior firepower as well.) I can't help but worry that this is going to be a bit of a downer when you play to have RM constantly riding you. I guess as long as you are willing to play using a more "shadow tactics" disposition, then the faction should be fine.

I have to agree with you here since we wont be able to match the firepower of the military and as I said before we will play the underdogs. About using shadow tactics, well we would definitely need some comprehensive sneaking plans before facing the military plus the lawful forces of rheinland. If we happen to come into existence its most probable that we will be topping in the criminals list of the military. And thats why we need volunteers to take on a hardship quest and responsibility.

Every idea and everyones vote is important for me here. We would be looking forward to plan assaults on individuals as well, if we manage to compose our squad.

I dont know if our existence will bring a balance to the conflict within Rheinland and borders, but it will surely add some depth.

And your request would be accepted without any hesitation. I can see handling a bunch of responsibilities varying in a decent range shouldnt be that easy. Yet, if you happen to change your mind, know that you are always welcome here. For having a twist, well i cant comprehend the exact details that we will be going for at this time. We need some period to see through the mist ahead us. The only thing I can assure you and everybody interested with at the moment is that we will definitely produce hardcore Roleplay.
