To be honest, I didn't expect any self-critical reflections here, but I was still hoping to get some answers. There seem not to be many answers concerning the Volkhanists (which I personally don't find surprising from what I've seen ingame).

' Wrote:As for other explanations, I suggest you follow the rather substantial RP on the forums surrounding them.

Forum Rp is nice... if roleplay (with the exception of foreplay to pewpew) also existed ingame I would not be writing negative feedback. But if the only thing that gets into ingame roleplay is "You are an Enemy, we shoot you, for Volkhan!" then it is not enough... even though there is forum roleplay.

Quote:I also recommend you go back about 2 years and take a look at SCRA diplomacy at that period, and once compared you will understand.

If you point me to a thread, I will do that. The forum is just not made for finding these things without some pointing to and I haven't been around at that time, so I have no real idea.

Quote:Edit: Oh, and here's another... fun... thought, have you ever contacted a member of the Volkhanists AFTER the raid is conducted to ask permission to re-enter the system? If it is for RP purposes, and not to get your pew on, you might find them very very reasonable in granting that permission.

Agreed, but this doesn't keep me from being sanctioned if anybody (not your guys) reports me. I'm not taking risks. But I guess that after 2 lolraids in only 6 hours on the same system permission to stay in will be granted.

What I find worrying: I haven't been pointed out how I can play with Volkhanists without doing rather meaningless OORP shooting. That is a core question, and it should be one that is answered quickly and without hesitation in a roleplay game! Knowing how to play with the others, what to offer, how to react to roleplay is the very core of roleplay in my opinion.

So... I ask again: How can I play with Volkhanists if I do not want to shoot? What does that group contribute to roleplay (except very one-sided lulz in pvp), what roleplay do you offer to players like me?

If you shoot up complete systems and disrupt roleplay severely for non-pewpew roleplay like you did yesterday twice, I feel it is my right to ask for that way to be pointed out to me.

Since i was kind of involved in that thing with Jayce I'd just like to add that the skull bomb added a pretty interesting in-rp obstacle to overcome and it provided the two of us with a bit of fun before Jayce decided that the character had lived for too long and put an end to it.

Other than that I really don't have anything else to say in terms of feedback. I guess that means you're doing well enough for yourself now a days.

I'm assuming this is somehow connected to you being denied entrance to our Faction.

In the past, which included the recruiting system that was applied in your case, the individual you were Role-Playing with in the recruitment thread essentially makes the decision whether or not you get in. When I went to check who this individual was, it was not Alvin, although that is still really irrelevant to this Faction Feedback.

Anyways, it was most likely because the recruiter wasn't satisfied with your answers. In most cases it's because a character displays far too many stereotypical properties. For your application, what the major flaw I personally saw was that your character was way too "cocky" to be in the position that she was in. Eventually that got your character killed.

The current recruitment system with the closure of that recruitment thread has changed however. Now the HC votes the entrance of a new player, if more than 4 votes are a "Yes" and less than 4 votes are "No" an individual receives the chance for entrance, (the irony is that Alvin doesn't even vote unless there is a tie) but that is only after you have applied as a character via the standard Role-Play procedure that the SCRA is known for. This way the recruiter does not make the decision but a group of individuals does. Either way, if Alvin's character came in and killed your character, it was most likely because of the recruiter's opinion, in this particular case I agreed with the decision after reading your character's responses.

The decision to deny your entrance to the Faction was only, and will only be how good or bad you character responds during the recruitment procedure. Then, even if you happened to be an individual with "bad reputation" it wouldn't matter, because everyone gets tucked into a separate recruit-chat where you are on a trial period somewhat similar to a Nomad Morph. Prove your worth there and you may stay. Everyone gets a fair shot. What the HC votes for is what they see on that recruitment thread, replacing the system before where only a single individual made the decision.

This is quite different from what I heard, aka faction leader going mad in HC chat.

Would you care to provide your source or was this just a "rumour"?

While I am nolonger in SCRA I find Alvin going mad extremely unlikely as he's one of the most stable people I know, it's more likely your just trying to stir up antagonism towards SCRA by launching a personal attack on Alvin.

What did I do now?

Mad in HC? Yes, I often go mad in my HC room, I stand on the desk, beat my chest, and call all these muppets, loosers..

Really now, how do you know what goes on in my HC chat? The members of HC are a loyal, stable group of people who I trust and who... surprise... trust me.

If you wish to give me feedback, perhaps you should state what it is I am accused of?

I currently lead two factions, and am in HC of two others. I respect the players on all of these groups. So please, pray tell, what is it I am accused of here so that I have some understanding of where this supposed madness and disrespect of mine come into play?

So, um.. hello beloved enemies.:)

Today, I witnessed a small skirmish in the Omega 41 system that I thought I would write to you about.

From what I saw, the scra were very fair and treated us very nicely. I specifically fought a little with one of you (I can't remember the name it started with an 'S' >.<) and I felt like I was not just utterly destroyed. The combat with that pilot felt much like rp actually, sure we tried to destroy one another but I felt like I wasn't just another target, just another blue message that would pop up sometime. I felt actually respected and considered, the other pilot wielding his skill and experience in a responsible manner that had me feeling that my enjoyment of the game was actually important for him.

And that was, I thought, something really amazing. And something I felt oblieged to write about here. I am really impressed with you guys and although you are (in the game) our enemies, I am glad you are on the server.
