Start -> Run -> type in dxdiag
If you're using windows 7, just type dxdiag into the search bar.

the icon looks like a blue circle with a yellow X

well this is trully a marvel in the history of gaming. a next level if you will.

however i see one downside: im betting you have a nice "kick-ass" gaming computer, quad core, awesome videocard. in short: the best of the best.

what you probably forgot is: more than half of the gamer population doesnt has a "kick-ass" gaming computer like us and something tells me your game is gonna require one hell of a decent computer to run properly.

A Psalm out of the outcast history books.
The dons are our shepherds; I shall not want. They make us live with a cause; They lead us trough the still vasts of space. They restore our souls; They lead us in the paths of righteousness For The Orange Dream. Yai, though we fly through the valley of the shadow of death, we will fear no evil; For the Spirits are with us; Your leadership and Your cardamine, they comfort us. You prepare a safe home for us in the presence of our enemies; Surely goodness and mercy shall follow us All the days of our life; And we will dwell in the house of the outcasts Forever

I played this on my old windows XP. performance wasn't that great, but I still managed.
I'm not using a hyped up gaming computer, but it's not an old dusty pile of scrap either.

The game graphics are really lacking, everything is low polygon. Any poor performance is probably because of some efficiency problems they haven't ironed out. Haxus has made some recent core level changes that greatly enhanced performance from what it was before, brought it up to playable levels on my old computer.

you must have moved them, I had a support discussion up and the images vanished

I did see it, and from what I remember, I think the problem is your integrated video card, im not entirely sure though.

This is going great now.
The lag has pretty much gone away, not stopping every few seconds anymore.

Have a nice city flourishing on a planet!

Would be great to re-enact Starlancer:lol:

With me, the lag is really bad, and instead of a floor, there is what appears to be a disk of water underneath me that follows me wherever I walk, What is wrong! Please help, looks like my type of game.

Best chance of getting help is posting in the SoH forums, they know the technical stuff better than I do, it's fairly active, so you should get a reply quickly

Tried booting the game up again. No error message this time, but now I'm infinitely stuck in the opening cinematic where those spinny lights an stuff while an orange light spins around the screen.
