I have Lux Liner - CAU 8 , Hv CM, Cap Thruster, civ shield, and guns all Small Transport Turrets MK1 the Bretonish ones.
Everything was working before the latest changed started to take place. Today guns do NO DAMAGE AT ALL.
I tried this:
1.Relog
2.Restarting game
3.unmounting guns and mounting back
3.unmounting guns relog and mounting back
4.unmountnig guns restart game and mounting back
5.selling guns buy normal Transport Turrets mk 3
6.selling guns relog buy TTmk3
7.selling guns restart game buy TTmk3
8.selling guns - buying guns and then restart/relog
9.tried buying guns in diffrent system
So ... it's something else.
They take energy from shooting so they drain energy but don't do any damage...and I am lost now...
I think it's some glitch either with Lux liner or just my ship....the only thing I am using is the graphics mod that many people use and it wasn't problem so far - I am also using sounds mod but I used it before and no problems were before so it's not it...
I can wait till the server restart to check it but I rather admins have an eye on it.
It's an anti-cheat mechanism. Your installation of FL is different from what it should be. I'd advise restoring backups in FLMM, uninstalling FL, running a registry cleaner, and then re-downloading and re-installing FL and the mod.
I have FL from store - bought it after release.
anticheat would kick me I think...and I have a back up DATA just in case the graphics mod will make some problems...so I can restore the things BEFORE the graphics changed...but it is working for other people and I didn't notice anyone esle having this problem...maybe I wasn't looking for it...still it's weird - I would ask for admins advice on it. and does it affect all ships while it happens on one of them or it's only this one? I didn't check that...
and reinstaling seems like choice of windows XP user...(yeah I am one) I rather try everything BEFORE I am doing that.
Me and my friends (we all live in the same house) just started playing this game on Discovery today. We all have the EXACT same problem as listed in the topic.
Here's the weird thing: when I first started playing, I had no issue. I was playing everything just fine, it all worked. My buddy joined and started playing with me - still no problem
We got two more friends to join our group and play with us, (we're all playing in the same room on Wifi) and suddenly are ability to damage anyone - NPC, friend or foe alike - disappeared.
We have tried everything we can think of and everything listed in this topic to fix it, but have had no progress. Can anyone offer any suggestions?
I know it ISN'T an issue with our installation, as the installations worked fine before and these are legit copies for Freelancer.
