i used to be in RM, i used to play as LNS, i used to play as indie BAF, i used to play as Order. I still play as Outcast and Corsair, still as BHG.... my bias is what? ive almost been within every faction i can. Even gallic factions.... I used to fly a cap myself, and even back then i hated the other captains around me who didnt even try to roleplay (which got me blown up cuz i was probably just another lolwutter in a BS......)

I simply hate stupid indie caps who cant roleplay in their big fat metal cans. And there is NOTHING i can do about it. Iv'e tried helping them by outlining the basics for a BS RP (like actually having crew members on a dread, and food/other supplies) which worked to some extent. Ive tried to teach them to announce who is talking, be it the captain or some other officer onboard. and it worked. BUT THEY STILL DONT GET IT THAT THEY CANNOT PERFORM WEAPON TESTS AT FIGHTERS

I am in factions,not against them. I am however against factions having the power to ruin Indie players fun. Learn the difference.
I respect many factions,and follow many faction Order's. I do not hate all factions.(some yes) I just hate the "we got tag,we better then you" attitude many take here. I have seen people on their first day in Discovery become a faction player,so those who say "all faction players" know RP,and rules better then Indies are full of it.
I express my oppinion as often as i wish. If you do not like them? Oh well, to bad, life sucks then you die. But it is my option to speak my mind,as it is others.:tease:

The problem being that, when anyone proposes an idea which could allow faction to re-instate some modicum of order, you go into your automatic iconoclast mode, and complain that it'll turn indies into slaves to the officials.

Really, man, its attitudes like that create the very situations that you claim officials will create otherwise.

But, I digress, we're getting off topic.

We need a way to spend our cash on. Remove caps and trading\mining will disappear from the game. Why to trade if 1 hour of trading will give you a fighter and ammo for it for next 300 days.

As an LN Secondary Fleet Battlecruiser Captain I have to agree with the amount of "lolwut" captains. So much so I actually avoid going online at certain times in the day just so I can avoid being dragged into anouther "lolraid rhienland".

I do however think simply making it so all caps MUST be registered to the secondary fleet before they're allowed to even put LN or LNS in thier name may go a long way in resolving it. Since most of these captains are either just [Name] or LNS-[Name] but not registered. And if it was also added that you have to have LNS-[Name] with a cap then those will vannish. Or atleast bother to fill in some paperwork ... which they probably won't.
