That's the Assault Frigate from X-Wing Alliance....

If I want to be totally correct, that is the model made by someone at "X-Wing Alliance Upgrade" to replace the one in the game X-Wing Alliance.

Not crazy about the new one, looks like a Dread with a platform on the back, but hey, I don't one YET, so I can't really complain.

I really like them both, if i could decide what to do with them, i would just keep the old LABC as it is, but i would also add the new model to the game as a second LABC maybe with a different name too.

Sometimes some good old models need to go, because there was made a new model replacement, but its not always needed really, despite that people like new things...

I have voted the old one, just for the nostalgy:)

Both are great, but I'd give the edge to the new one. I'm excited for it to come...but also unsure...

Old one fits better for me.

sure the texturing doesn't look too good etc. but the looks fit more as heavily armored battlecruiser

New one looks like a Yacht, relatively light and has fancy textures that don't fit with rest of liberty ships.

Anyway we had this thread over half a year ago and people voted that they like new one more.. so new one is in 4.86.
I believe more than 80% of votes went for the new one then.

Balancing will be the same as the one planned for the old model as size and shape is very similar. So it will get some slower thruster.

old one. New one, doesn't feel like LABC, it doesn't feel Liberty warship at all. Though aesthetically pleasing, it is a warship still, not a liner.
