Are you convinced that human nature breeds war, conflict and selfishness?
Do these properties define a human being? Is it part of who we are just as much as food, water and sleep is?
Because we have a long history of being a violent species that would fight over the most trivial things, most of us would agree that these properties belongs to the human nature. That it is within us, something irreversible that forces us to arrange ourselves into different social classes that divides us apart and ultimately spawns hostility. Whether for personal reputation, materialistic gain or simply a matter of survival - we will fight each other.
It is the never-ending cycle of war.
But humanity's biggest flaw is that we have been convinced that it is irreversible - Within. Our. Genes.
No, it just a matter of perception. One that we all seem to share.
We have been taught to hate, divide and kill each other, because we are convinced that this is the most optimal approach to survive. That it maximizes our chances of survival.
A sick joke. That is all it is. A sick joke.
But who can blame us? We look at the world set before us and we see that everyone is in conflict with something. We see that everyone is only looking out for themselves. We see that everyone is just serving their own personal interests. Logic dictates that we would mimic this behaviour because that is what the world has taught us. Be ruthless, be selfish, be hateful. It is a part of you, it keeps you alive, embrace it.
Wrong.
It just a matter of perception.
We as the human species are not biologically forced to start wars, create unnecessary conflicts or to act with such selfish narrow-minded mentality. This is not human nature, it is human behaviour!
Who is to blame? Who can we all point our fingers at and end this insanity?
The human culture and therefore, everyone of us. We created this human culture and from it spawned a philosophy of life that taught us that these negative attributes is part of our species, that it's simply something you have to accept. This is the true reality of today.
We are living out our culture, not something driven by human nature. And because of this absolute truth, I am certain that there is a solution. We are not shackled in genes, we are not doomed to forever experience internal warfare. There is a source to all of this. That source is our current civilization. It must end, and all the governments managing that civilization must be destroyed.
We will remake the human world, we will reset it.
And then... we will have the knowledge of our former mistakes.
This time humanity shall be unified, no more divisions, no more territorial wars. If we can be taught to be selfish, we can be taught to be selfless. We will fight for the prosperity of our species, we will fight for us.
