Tell that to the guys that game them black dragons, black widows, and Cids. I think I know who they are, and I think they wont listen to your advice. Cause those players jsut happen to be in the reavers to, or very good friends with them.
Reavers are allowed to use corsair tech. Once they received permission and according to the rules, they can use them even if they backstabbed the corsairs. Everybody understands this, I don't know why you don't. Should I draw it for you?

I'm sorry but we don't want to listen to your silly conspiracy theories. The whole situation was described above in detail by Dusty for what I think constitutes at least an n-th time. So either make constructive replies or please refrain from beating dead horses all day.

Yeah, when people are friends they do that sort of stuff for each other. I guess that's the value of having friends, you could try it some time.
I don't exactly agree the way they share tech either, or much of their other behavior in the past. In fact you could say I don't like the Reavers at all. Never have, from the moment they tried to cheap shot me by getting me to type so I'd fly in a straight line. Oh, and then shot at me outside Buffalo while being neutral. Good times.
But what I do agree with is players being able to play this game and have fun. They're roleplaying and having fun, why don't you try roleplaying and having fun with them instead of turning to forumlancer to make your complaints. You're just making this place a little more miserable for the rest of us.
And to the Reavers, at this point I don't think it would matter if you sold every ship and weapon you had, and bought Sabres and Eagles with Flashpoints, people would still think of you as the tech crossing mercs.

Nah, I don't get involved in politics. Too much of a headache. I already exceed my recommended daily intake of pointless arguments and meaningless promises right here on this forum.:)
This problem is hardly centered entirely with the Reavers though... but I am glad that Dusty brought this problem to light (even if he didn't intend to do so).
Anyway, if this line of discussion is to continue, I think everybody would appreciate it if we moved on over to that other thread where the flaw in the tech permission rule is being discussed.
@ Corsair tech raegers: I think that the fact that no tech deal in Discovery history has been as arduous, especially in relation to its peers, yet as widely scorned for its "omg u got it and no one else could lol" nature as the Reaver-Corsair deal goes a long way towards exposing inherent bias regardless of evident facts.
@ All other tech raegers: If the owning factions ask us to pull them we will. Simple as that.
@ Tech conspiracy: The only tech we've ever gotten from a faction while we had a member of said faction on the roster was Zelot with the Corsairs. Said tech deal being the stupidest ever in the history of ever. Of the other members we have who are faction leaders, Joe and the like, we do not have any corresponding tech. No matter how much the boys might pine for Magmas we're not going to go for them.
@ Dennis: Could you write Discovery a guideline for when it's ok to use non-factional tech and when it isn't? Doubtless the resulting essay would prove to be quite illuminating.

@ DI: Swearing is against forum rules. If you could abstain from doing so I would appreciate it. Also none of the persons who sold us Black Dragons (400 million for those by the way. But Q_Q regardless amiright) is or has ever been in the Reavers. I would ask that you check your facts... But yeah. ^_^
