Ok - I made my very first Battleship - Model Inside

Ok so let me show you the pics:
This is a Bretonia Majesty Yacht - Class: Light Battleship
The reason why i created this is because from the first day joining the Disco Freelancer Server, Bretonia catched my eyes. Though, i never had the chance to become a bretonian pilot or captain but i will very soon. I want to RP a Battleship with the Bretonia Queen: Carina on board - though she will not be always on-board. She has other things to do on Planet New London.


So yeah, this ship is not meant for battle, but has the armour and turrets of one. Also, to say it is a 'Light Battleship - not like the others. Let say it has the status of the Liberty Dread. Good enough i'll say.

It's ... an obese Liberator/That other VHF hybrid?

Ok , I'll try to chip in something productive... You really should try shaping the front to make it look more ... Bretonian-ish, like the current bret BS. Also , the engines look huge, you really need to scale them down a bit. It looks to me that you used fighter proportions. Also , you should try and sculpt the spheres on the size to make them more detailed.

I like it. With the best will in the world, it has an ugly charm about it. Same reason i fly an Adv train instead of a Whale.

If its meant to be a VIP transport/battleship, i think it would benefit from being less square and more sleek in its design. Longer on the X axis and shorter on the Z for example. Most battleships tend to be thinner along one axis.

Also, AJBeast makes a decent point in that it currently looks like nothing else, which isn't a bad thing in and of itself, and the engines are a bit too big.

@AJBeast - Uhmm yeah, it's a NOOBY-MADE-MODEL BATTLESHIP. So take it easy on me. I still need to fix a whole lot of **** in it. I made this post to show you guys how it looks - the model. Not to say that is not the Ssize of the BS, oh it looks like a obese liberator (if i was next to you, i would shove my computer mouse through your throat), and other unessasary critiques.

This post is made only to show people - or community - of how my first model look.

@Weepig - I'll take your first statement thats all - the rest can go to the trash.

@Shark - Thank you, majo. I'm trying my skills on this model. Soon i'll post a complete version. Though, this version is not even half way finished. ^^

Its good, but if I saw that as a Bretonia ship in game I'd scoot my chair back in horror. Not that it's a bad model, but it looks nothing like a Bretonia ship, or any ship in Freelancer for that model.
