This is a scenario where Gallia attempts to gain a huge military and economic strategic advantage over Sirius without declaring war on Liberty and Rheinland. They do this by invading the Sigma systems, effectively declaring war on the GMG.
Here is a summary of events that lead up to this:
Bretonia succumbs to the military and industrial might of Gallia, and the New London government sue for peace.
Queen Carina condemns the peace treaty drawn up by Gallia ambassadors and calls for the war to continue.
Another year of war ensues and Carina is eventually deposed, and both the Royal Families of Bretonia and Kusari vow to continue the war in exile. The Queen goes to Liberty and the Emperor goes to Rheinland.
Bretonia sues for peace and accepts the harsh terms of the loss of all its Tau assets, Glasgow Outpost and LD-14 under the pretense of "peacekeeping operational bases".
Kusari lays claim to Planet Harris and negotiates with Gallia in exchange for the planet and local resources, allows military access and logistical support to Gallia Royal Navy for 40 years.
The Tau Accords are signed, Planet Harris is handed over to the Republic of Kusari and the Gallic Royal Navy sets up positions in Kyushu and Honshu.
Gallia wanting to strangle Sirius without attacking either Liberty or Rheinland directly, initiate operations to conquer the Sigma systems via military action.
Liberty and Rheinland condemn the actions of Kusari for allowing Gallia to operate with impunity and without restriction. Both Houses totally embargo Gallia, and Kusari.
Bretonia falls into economic and social collapse, rumours of revolution fills the streets, the BAF and BPA struggle to keep peace.
Liberty and Rheinland sign the "Treaty of Republics" and agree to a peace treaty of necessity and lift all trade embargoes between each other.
Gallia sends military units into the Sigma systems and declares the systems now a protectorate of The Kingdom of Gallia, refusal is seen as a criminal act.
Naturally GMG respond with its own military action and skirmishes with the Gallic fleet.
The Outcasts respond to this shift in power by sending large fleets to engage the Gallic fleet, leading to losses on both sides. Outcasts and GMG hold talks of 'alliance of necessity'.
Bretonia government collapses. Radical left wing government takes power.
Rather longer than I planned. But essentially, Gallia and Kusari have a boggled alliance, but really Kusari is now a slave to Gallia. What would happen do you think if Gallia does take control of the Sigma systems? What if Gallia loses the fight and is forced on the back foot? Would Rheinland and Liberty take advantage? Or is Kusari playing dead to catch the Gallic fleets by surprise and betray them?
[color=#FFFFFF]I missed those threads! I think Kusari will try to go down with "honour" and they are know for stubborn and relentless attacks, so full pressure on, I doubt that they'll play dead as you put it to catch the Galics off guard. But then again I'm stereotyping much
There are so many problems with this that I don't know where to start...
1: Hogosha, FA, Blood Dragons and GC all would oppose this submissive nature by Kusari. Kusari is a largely xenophobic, closed off society. They would not react well to being dominated by outsiders.
2: Liberty and Rheinland would not sit on their arses while Gallia takes control of the Sigmas and therefor their fuel supply. They would likely forge a temporary truce and both send fleets to swat those frogs. Attempting to take control of the H Fuel production puts Gallia at odds with ALL of Sirius, which is more then they can handle.
3: The GMG would likely make minced meat out of those Valors out in the nebulas. More work for the Junkers at Yanagi would loom on the horizon.
4: The Kishiro backed government which is Gallia friendly is also friendly to the GMG, so they wouldn't exactly be happy with the GRN moving through Kusari space to pick on their eastern allies.

A more strategic approach would be to push through Outcast space.
Strategically appropriate, but would wreck the gameplay of the Outcasts, as well as the factions who make money off the Cardi trade.
And as Aet said, it would cause all Sirius to set aside their differences and ally against Gallia.
That being said, perhaps Gallia should fund a group like the Hogosha to bolster their efforts to hamper gas mining operations? Gallia could also have some kind of group equivalent to Privateers to sneak out and do some damage.
Gallia doesnt have to completely stop the gas flowing - a low-level, longer term operation could be just as damaging to the Sirius economy, without any real political backlash against Gallia.

[color=#FFFFFF]I think that most people underestimate the Maltese when compared to the houses. You have to take into account though rather limited in number the average Maltese is twice as capable as your regular house G.I Joe, as well as stated in Disco lore that they are one of the most able ship builders in Sirius. Combine that with the fact that have practically been at war for the past 7 centuries and you get a force that could very well hinder any armada trying to push through their space, be it Gallic or Kusarian
Pushing through Outcast space would mean going through Omicron Alpha. Which means Malta would need to fall. Which means every Cardi addicted faction in the game would come there to fight Gallia - since their survival would depend on it. Literally. It might also get the Nommies involved...
The OORP issue with that route is that it would mean the end of the Outcasts, GC, LH, LR and a good portion of the rich-and-famous in the Colonies who are all Cardi addicts.

Kusari already is really, being forced in to signing a peace treaty with Gallia.

Kinda done. Ever heard of Gallic Junkers who can go anywhere in sirius and pirate? Depends on whom you go to for why they go to sirius and pirate though.

Worst case in this scenario is that the new competitor entering the war of the sigmas would possibly make the Corsairs and Outcasts unite arms to destroy this new menace trying to take what they want....
If House Hispania would be reborn, there would be no stopping that power. They would have the best ships (vanilla lore about sairs) and pilots (vanilla lore of outcasts) in the universe at their disposal.

Wrong. All it takes is to literally destroy Malta's surface with nuclear/anti-matter bombardment, together with the cardamine and outcast population, and turn it into nuclear wasteland. That is the most cost-effective solution, taking into account that Malta cannot be colonized due to cardamine-"poisoned" atmosphere, and cardamine can pose a large threat to Gallia as well.
Scenario where each cardi-dependant faction comes to Alpha to fight for outcasts might work only in case Outcasts will know that Gallics are coming. Then, possibly, they will have time to "Call to Arms". But even then, how much time does it takes, inRP, to give a message to other factions, persuade them in the seriousness of the threat, and then reach Omicron Alpha through jumphole network? Especially since Discovery introduces JumpDrives, which may help Gallics greatly.
As for outcast war fighting capability - Omicron Alpha is, mainly, an open space. Gallia, due to numerical and technological superiority, will have huge, tremendous advantage.
In a 3D dimension, having numerical superiority and best long-strike capabilities among all humans will result in the extreme superiority in firepower, which then will result in even higher ratio of Outcast : Gallia deaths.
Thats of course if we use "Logic" in it, which is not necessary, since it's Freelancer we're talking about.

[color=#FFFFFF]Right back at you, all it takes is a Cardamine warhead exploding on New Paris to ensure the safety of Malta when people start turning into mindless husks and dying from withdraw
