Aquilon?

Once more I kneel down before thee, oh mighty Discovery community! Again, I ask thee for advice, this time concerning a Aquilon Zoner Carrier!

So, I have finally decided to get myself a battleship / carrier! Since I will violently reject the idea of buying a Liberty Dreadnought / Order Osiris.

Since I am more of a RP-fan, and suck at PvP (although I dont know how I bad I suck in BSs yet), I thought of getting an Aquilon. Its RP possibilites seem to be numerous, and it also seems to be able to stand its ground in PvP.

So, any experiences / opinions you would like to share with me?

Good, if you want RP then yes, an Aquilon is a GREAT choice (I never see many of them)

I personally thought it sucked when I had one.
Awful hitbox, crappy turret placements, etc.

But meh, it is just an RP ship.

If I would have enough moneys, I buy it instantly. A great ship with many RP possibilities. You can RP whatever you want: Freeport, galactic zoo, planet with engines, my house. Probably, I'll be taking a loan for it.

It is a Zoner ship, so it has plenty of RP potential. I've never flown it but I've spoken with a few that have. From what I gather it is meant to kite its targets; that is have them chase it while it shoots at them or something. I dunno. Talk to Dab, he used to fight in one a lot. They are rare too..........you know, come to think of it they are as rare as the Jinkusu should be!

Aquilon is a great fighter and RP ship. If you use it for the former as a Zoner, is a support ship (Solaris is the king), as a second option is amazing and you can do everything that passes through your imagination.

It has great agility, along with some of the best turret hardpoint placements in the entire mod. Fill it up with Solaris turrets and slap on a Light Mortar or two then you have yourself an excellent fleet support ship. The Solaris chew bombers and fighters up fast and your heavy guns can lay down cover fire from afar.

But remember this - never expect to survive if you're on your own. The Aquilon was designed as a heavy support ship used in conjunction with other ships, preferably fighters and bombers. Join the Omicroners!

Drop the Zoner and get a Kusari BS, theres not enough around, and go RP in western Kusari mate...

Also, there is no chance of me getting a Kusari BS. Its ugly, huge, and I happen to hate RPing in Kusari.
