Not really a loophole, I thought it was intended like that? Fighters/bombers are fair game for cruisers and above, but freighters/transportsners aren't. The rules are pretty explicit on that.

In any case, it would be fairly easy for the codehunters to use a /restart and get in a freighter to ensure they're not valid targets to cruisers...

Can only pirate in a gunboat or smaller (cruisers and battleships may demand allied pilots only)

so JihadJoe is right, you can't pirate anything in a cruiser.

So they do--I haven't looked closely at the unlawful ID's. Thanks for clarifying!
