Jack bent towards the table, holding his chin with his hand, while he gave a meticulous look at the facility's planimetry. Dave previously sealed the main entrance, situated in the levels above them, on the surface, the Nomads could have penetrated in from an air shaft that Eriksson missed to lock, or from somewhere else. He was surprised to find out that the facility had a sewer drain that led to the outside, towards an unmarked point of the map. But there was a downside, the map had several curved markings, meaning that the sewer was connected half way of a waterfall.
He then raised up when he noticed several portholes from which feathered rays of light blended against the overall darkness of the room.
Jack Aubrey: Of course!
The turned around towards an emergency pick-axe, used in case of a conflagration, then he went towards one of the portholes, and he hit it several times before a light breeze of air could enter in the room.
He then recalled the attention of the others, pointing his finger at a specific point of the facility's planimetry. The sewer drainage.
Jack Aubrey: Those portholes show that we are near the exit, the base was built vertically and not horizontally as I thought, thus while one end was on the surface, the other end was in a valley, in which a waterfall is located. And guess what? The sewer is liked to the outside. But the entry is at about fourty feet from here. And I don't think that someone of us... He looked towards Eriksson.. would like to pass pass through a sewer.
"And to think of it I'm wearing my new shoes...ohh well...as long as I survive...but if I step into something you're buying me a new pair of shoes, Jack! And pants if they get dirty! Because, frankly, the dry cleaner on Toledo and Lisbon don't do their job very well..."

Dave : Erik, different groups of nomads are trying to find where are we at the current moment, the base is damaged and old apparently and I won't give it too much chances, and you think of your shoes and pants ? We can head towards there, using whatever we have to protect us from any possible danger. The sewer could be linked also to the other parts of the compound where the K'Hara took control.
Dave looked on the supply packs that Jack brought from the Armory.
Dave : How many plasma torches we have ? Besides the half one I already used ?

"I'm afraid I can't do that, Dave...you see, I bought these shoes and pants yesterday and they're designer shoes and pants if you haven't noticed. But, alright I'll just shut up and live with it...by the way that plasma torch isn't half used, it's fully used. As in empty."

Dave : Not at all, there is something called "trigger" on it. It still has enough power to lighten up for 15 minutes. And we don't need to forget why are we here. I don't know how much the blast doors can take it. I may used the emergency protocols for reinforcement but, It will fall due to it's age and brutal attacks of the K'Haras. We need to move on.
Dave waited as he looked to Jack waiting for his approval.

Joe looked behind the bar and found some good ol' bottles. He mumbled something about taking some bottles with him. He looked at the other guys and he noticed that they weren't paying attention to him, so he silently slid a bottle in his backpack. While he walked back he began to whistle a bit.
He noticed that the guys were looking concentrated and he picked up the word "sewer".
Joe : Wait, we are not going in there are we?!
After hearing the speeches of Dave and Jack about how important this would be he turned his back straight.
Joe : All right Erik, you go first, if you find what we are looking for then you should come back in which case we shall go aswell. Good luck!
He looked through the hole that Jack smashed and he looked down. While he chuckled he looked back at Erik.
Joe : You could have a cigar to cover the stench. I have these very nice "Presidente's" with a nice wooden flavor. This is especially enjoyable if you get a nice good bottle of aged booze. Preferably that stuff from the old earth days. I usually go for a "Guillotine cut" with one of the cutters i have. For instance, this one that i have here. Now, if you want to do this the right way, put your thumb here and then....
He kept dragging on and on about cigars and the taste of it and it was obvious that Erik lost attention. But would he accept the cigar to cover the stench?
Dave got 3 plasma torches from a nearby supply case brought by Jack and Joe from the Armory. He took one removing the metal shell of the torch's power source. He then took out his laser cutter and gave a shot on the plasma battery. He smiled then gave the stuff to Erik.
Dave : Take these Erik, you may need them. Also note that one is amplified. It will be brighter but it will finish faster. Be careful there. Also take my Carniflex gun, I removed the fingerprint so you can use it as well for now. You have two modes.. stun and deadly shot. Also activate the "Warp Ammo". The force is so powerful it makes the insides explode, of your target.
