They would be similiar to Krakens in gunspeed, range, and damage? - Yes.

They would have somewhat similiar gunspeed to the guns you already use (human ones)? - Yes.

Let's check the facts.

Your proposed guns:

Wild Hybrid Cannon - Class 10 Gun - No type - 700m/s - 600 range - 3.03 refile - Wyrm damage - Slightly better energy management

Wild Hybrid Blaster - Class 10 Gun - No type - 700m/s - 600 range - 4.00 refile - Kraken damage - Slightly better energy management

Other guns at your disposal:

Hornviper II - Class 9 gun - Tachyon - 700m/s - 700 range - 5.88 refire - 340 hull damage - Energy usage 88

Disinfector 3 - Class 9 gun - Neutron - 600m/s - 550 range - 4.00 refire - 520 hull damage - Energy usage 105

Sunfrenzy 3 - Class 9 gun - Photon - 600m/s - 600 range - 8.33 refire - 260 hull damage - Energy usage 70

And now the current "order" guns:

Nomad Energy Blaster - Class 10 gun - No type - 600m/s - 700 range - 4.00 refire - 585 hull damage - Energy usage 94

Nomad Energy Cannon - Class 10 gun - No type - 600 m/s - 700 range - 3.03 refire - 705 hull damage - Energy usage 112

As you can see, with the refire rate of the hornvipers and the refire rate of the Wild hybrid guns especially come to mind here, as you can see, this would be an extremely good alternative to use with hornvipers.

And Vrabcek, to say it this way, it seems the proposed "rp" there is nothing but bull**** made up in order to get better guns..

But yeah. Just make them stronger and nerf class to class 8, so you can mount them on LFs.

The Wild have Nomad knowledge in mind when they design their guns, which is far more advanced than any human tech in Disco. Doesn't matter how epic the engineers of other factions are, the Wild are Nomads, who are more advanced than anyone.

Maybe capital letters will help you see what we mean.

WE CURRENTLY USE NOMAD LASERS WHICH ARE BETTER THAN THE REPLACEMENTS THAT WE ARE ASKING FOR. SWALLOW THE IGNORANCE AND BACK THE HELL UP OUT OF MY THREAD.

Clearer for you? Or should I bold and underline it?

Corsairs, the Lane Hackers, the Hellfire, the LSF, Ageira, they all utilize Daam'K'Vosh knowledge.

What? And I agree with elven. If this is to be implemented, why wouldn't the epic engineers of elsewhere get cool stuff too?

No they don't.

Humanity made jumpgates, tradelanes and cruise engines based on what the found in Valhalla One. They used the fraction of knowledge that Liberty procured, and they've only unlocked a fraction of a % of the total knowledge available.

Nomad Technology is still far better than any of those groups, because they're a far more advanced race.

Because they're not Nomads.

Corsairs utilize technology from Crete artifacts. Outcasts are supersmart due to nomad food too.

But, in the vanilla campaign, the LSF proved to have taken to use large quantities of nomad inspired technology. Why don't they have Nomad energy blasters, or these "adaptations"?

And monkeys can replicate every single thing humans do, and parrots fairly much of what we say, we don't need to understand it, but you can still use it. Like.. most people use a laptop, but fairly few understand how it actually works.

My point beeing, you wouldn't need to be a nomad in order to use the technology and replicate the basic operating principles.

And finally, regarding the guns and pvp, honestly, do similiar gunspeed help with accuracy? yes? Does high damage and low use of energy help in pvp? Yes?

Then why don't you understand what I'm saying?

Crete artifacts =/= Nomad or Daam K'Vosh tech, and still, human tech has it's limits, the Order couldn't duplicate Nomad tech, so they made a cheap copy.

The Outcasts are smarter, yeah, but their tech is still only so good, and Nomad tech is still superior. The Wild would make better guns than the Outcasts because they have the knowledge of a superior race.

They should probably have the half-assed copies that the Order made then too. Not my problem that they don't.

The Order-made Nomad guns are counterfeit, they're better than most human tech, but still nowhere near as good ad Nomad tech. Nomad tech is really far beyond humanity, it's like cavemen trying to utilise a laptop and replicate it.

The Wild are a combat faction, we do need guns that perform well. If we're given crap guns, we just won't use them, and will end up using a questionable RP-able alternative like actual Krakens and Wyrms.

alternative weapons are a necessity ... but the ones proposed are slightly OP.

GRN weapons are balanced for "the big new enemy" that is not exactly a terroristic one - but has to fight according to public rules and a set amount of enemies. - they are also balanced for the rather large gallic ships. ( many gallic ships are a good deal larger in size than many sirius ships - but their weapons are superior )

the fighter weapons suggested are basicly OK - but i would also suggest a projectile speed decrease to 600 or 650. - we shouldn t compare them to the BEST public guns and add a little bit on it - but we should take the most AVERAGE public guns and work on from there.

in other threads it was said that "stats are only secondary, skill is what counts" - and while that argument goes both ways - it would work very much for the more exclusive factions reputation to ( for once ) ask for average gear - instead of top notch gear.

i m waiting for the day - when an exclusive faction asks specificly for weapons that are comparable to normal public guns. like :" we want to have our own guns - make them as good/bad as Furys."

So you admit to that you want these guns for pvp and that the Wild is a almost purely pvp faction? Interesting.
