I got my rank fast. And notice that I never asked to be a admiral.

But well. Yes I'm one. because I can do the stuff needed to be a admiral (currently not that well due to RL... final exams soon)

and no. its not only 6 months.

I joined with an other char than the one I have now.

/edit: also note that I'm playing 95% order. the rest I'm helping newbies and repping chars for newbs with my few other chars.

The Order Roleplay Flaws (In a Sad Soggy Nutshell)
1-Our biggest form of roleplay requires us not to roleplay.
A sneaky faction that hides in the background and strikes from the shadows without being seen or heard sound cool, but having to stay out of site makes really boring roleplay. We also have to defend humanity when all of it hates us. We are a small faction up against a lot of big factions, and we don’t want them all dead like the Corsairs. I know the order can get around this, but remember our RP is handicapped to start.
2-Our faction has a great deal of lolwut secondaries that we must deal with.
Most popular argument come next, the amount of capitalwhores, lolwuts, and incompentent secondaries in the Order is astounding. Our main system is only three away from the start system, we have one of the most impressing sounding cheap capitals in the game, and the faction was one of the coolest in the single player. The end result is a truckload of new players arriving on our doorstep every day. I myself have helped countless new players try to understand the order rp, learn what cannot be done, and get an order character going; it ends in them getting annoyed they can’t shoot at our enemies and buying a geb (while giving me the middle finger for telling them how to play). The last person I tried to help told me it’s a game for everyone, the order is his faction to, and that he can do whatever he wants…they usually quit in around a week.
3-Our enemies do not like to fight us.
Get a group of Liberty or BHG ships together and go to minor when there are a lot of indies and Order| playing, I guarantee you that even if you send a message to the Order| claiming to want to RP beforehand and don’t equip weapons an indie (or ill admit it, every now and then an order|) will attack you and be followed by most of the rest of the order. Once a few indies see red in their huge capital ships, it’s hard to tell them to stay back. Order| cannot stop them.
4-Our main targets are invite-only factions.
The Nomads are our enemies, and they are all invite-only factions. This makes it very hard to get activity going when there is nobody to go after. Worse, we get constant grief for attempting to fight the LNS and BHG because they are not nomads. I remember a sad trip to Dublin to with two fighters to stop some Keepers ending with mercs attacking us, followed by BFA for attacking mercs, followed by an order agent for acting like a terrorist.
5-All of our enemies have other enemies they can fight against.
I have seen many complaints about the Keepers going to Manhattan while the order sits in Minor, so let me tell you how three trips to fight the Keepers ended.
1-LNS telling us to stay out of it and threatening to shoot at us instead if we intervened
2-The Keepers all dying before we could get near and the LNS getting annoyed we showed up
3-The Keeper hiding as we broke into recon while a freelancer got all of Liberty to attack the “Terrorists”
The general idea is that the Keepers can fight the LNS, and the LNS generally want to fight them off then to see the Order do their jobs in any way. All of our enemies have other people they can fight, and most of them see the Order as a Geb infested gank-pool that they should steer clear of unless they have no other choice.
6-Order is sick of it
Many Order| members have just become tired of the constant groaning and moaning, they try to please anyone and just get it kicked in there face. Several Order| have regretably started to ignore indies and treat them all as dirt because of the sheer amound of lolwuts they see. Many of them dont bother leaving Isis because they get yelled at everytime they are seen beyond minor. Some have just stopped going to battles because of the ganking that come from both sides, the morale in the Order| is dropping all the time. Is it any wonder most of new player are getting ranks to fill the void.



Think Im wrong, then make a character, come to Minor and prove it.

and whatever we do. whoever will lead. whatever we fix.

(within the stuff which will be approved by the admins)

it will be back like it is now after just a short time again.
