Stabbing the Corsairs in the back was probably a bad move, though I probably would say that, wouldn't I?

Seems to me that the Order went through a comprehensive program of trying to shut doors and open new ones in terms of diplomacy, and the "shutting doors" effort has gone allot better than the effort to open them.

When you're in an isolated corner of the universe, and your only neighbours consist of Nomads, LSF and Hunters that want to kill you, and the Corsairs who wouldn't mind if you were dead, your only convenient activity is getting shot at, so is it any wonder that your main member pool will end up consisting of lolwhuts looking for a fight? Good RP-focused members get demoralised and leave. PVP-focused lolwhuts arive to replace them, and after a short while you're left wondering what the hell happened to your faction.

I speak from 4 years of personal experience as leader amongst the Corsairs; the Corsairs have always been surrounded by pvp-obsessed enemies, and so our indy-pool has historically been considered the worst group of lolwhuts around.
Since reorganising Order's diplomacy, Minor has become even more of a boxing ring, and with the coolest capships around, I'm not surprised the Order ID is the ID of choice for lolwhuts.

I am not making accusations. I am merely offering an explanation for an increase in lolwhut-ery that other people in this thread have identified. I dont know the state of the Order from personal experience as we stay away from the Order now (therefore, naturally, I diddn't vote).

When I got frustrated with the Crete-lolwhuts and the constant invasions, I tried to get things happening elsewhere. I really reccomend reaching out to your remaining allies, dispatching agents to bases across House-space, and setting up RP events where you work alongside other factions in assassinating specific characters suspected of nomad-infestation, or tracking down specific dangerous alien artefacts. If you're afraid of getting ganked by the locals, send them a polite OOC PM asking them to treat you as "below the radar".
Dont forget that the image of the Order that the server sees is the one projected outside of Omicron Minor. If you're doing good stuff across House space, the server won't care that there's afew lolwhuts in Minor, and you'll start getting high-quality recruits coming through, joining up for the right reasons.

Well seems nice and interesting. The Order fraction is ruined cause of its Indies and Indies fractions. Why here is the thing they act like and do things that want and never listening to Primaries. Don't know proper English or even know what rp is. Not to mention poor fighting skills and the list goes on. In my opinion the Order| is doing its work greatly.

Hmm.... days, months, years past by when I was an Order-INDEPENDENT player. However, getting to the point - I stand against your view, Pacific. Why not blame it on the Order ensigns as well? (Ensigns 'cause they have to go through all the "lolwutting" stage to be a more serious player in the Faction. As someone said earlier in this thread - "Once a player becomes an Order, even an ESIGN, they act like they can control the system and let the indies wipe their bottom" - that's in fact true because I been through the process with other factions and other games. I hate it, really hate it when this happens.

If the Indies don't know proper English, and don't know what RP is - EXPLAIN them what it is and direct them for more info. The non-English speakers may take a while to grab on the information - but Google Translator is a good tool for them. As for fighting skills, teach them.

Nevertheless, Order shouldn't be "Invite Only" - if so, lets make BHG, Liberty Navy, Outcast and all the other factions that are experiencing the same bullcrap - Invite Only. Either way, who is going to make them and re-pay them credits to sell their Indie Osiris? No One for sure - and I know a fact that the Admins will not.

So, Order Indies keep your Role going, but have a bit of responsibility and know your surroundings.

Outcasts and Corsairs... and the houses for that matter, all have questionable indies. So I think you can stop blaming them for the shortcomings of a faction, as they have nothing to do with how well perceived your faction is, or can be. Blaming indies for faction problems is just a weak excuse to not take any initiative to distance yourselves from your indies.

In short, you've dug your own grave, and you're digging up by blaming indies.

No one said Order| is perfect or that it doesn't have any problems. I also don't remember anyone specificly blaming indies for our problems. It's the other way around, Order| is being blamed for all the bad moves of indies. No matter could we stop it or not. But meh, we are beating a dead horse....

Navy says they make a pewfest in minor if we move caps to alaska.

-people do (no matter if indie or not)
-navy invades minor
-guys cry about beeing ganked/killed
-order says "do not enter alaska"
-(mostly indies) give a **** about it.
-ossies in alaska
-navy ganks
-fellas Q_Q but still visit alaska.
-everyone blames Order| for it.

and so on and so on.

just one of several examples. (even if this one is a bit outdated. now we are ganked by a faction which is only made to annoy the order. not only if there are caps in liberty)

You know how hard I tried to fix that by ordering indies out of there.

Problems started with [SEG], then poof, in Liberty.

I tried, most listened, three didnt.

Alaska is a problem.

Plus, the BNG,will lose all reason to attack.

they will find a new one for sure.

and the official faction leader who is a admin as well will still give a s- about the PvP abuse i think.

cause you can always write the RP (which was just showd/made after the community asked for) in a way to have a reason.

I've personally dun have anything against.

but for that nooblet has to do his indie admiral job more active or step down. cause in my opinion hes not active enuf in the order to "lead" the indies. (currently)

Personal opinion:

Give us a multi-member HC, integrate us more, and open more events to us.

I'll nominate some peeps for the indie HC, and none,are me.
