Related to the recent GRN notice. Now you all know (unless you haven't read the aforementioned noticed) that I've stepped down from GRN leadership (kinda). Many of you also already know I resigned from BAF a few weeks ago. I won't go into details on the latter, but I will say that I decided I no longer wanted to be involved in the faction atmosphere of Discovery any longer. Except for a few rare factions, it's always hounded by drama these days which leeches the fun out of it.

I originally got into Discovery doing stories and fun rather random roleplay in-game. While random roleplay of the type we had back then doesn't exist anymore, stories do and mine have been horribly neglected lately. So that is what I'll be doing. Detroit Munitions (which is half story work anyway) will be revived since Tales went MIA after I handed it to him, and I'll be doing other story stuff regarding my two main characters, Aurelia and Evyn, the latter of which I have a 4-chapter series half-written waiting to be finished. Beyond that and mod/dev work, I'll be uninvolved in things. I will not be holding any faction characters except my GRN| ones until such time as the faction finds a new full-time leader.

I always had the impression that you were one of those who most commonly hounded factions with drama and leeched the fun out of it for them.:unsure:

Now that CR and a bunch of zoner factions are gone you are only on the receiving end now and cant dish out as much as you used to and thats no longer fun anymore ?

Lul, no. I think the AW are safely tucked away in the coffin now. Besides, there would be no end of grief from the large number of players with bad opinions of AW (which they weren't even on the server yet to encounter personally). It would be amusing and possibly fun, but for it to work would require having our ID reinstated, for no ID on Discovery really allows AW to be the faction it was in the past. There is no private army ID, only Mercenary comes close, and it doesn't allow caps (minor issue) or for you to attack people unless they have a bounty on them (major issue).

It was fun while it lasted, but Discovery can't be as lax as it was before due to the number of players now.
