I think this is a start. You need to include trading also. I created a spreadsheet of lawful trade routes within Gallia and the best run makes 23 million per hour. I guess that is not bad, but it isn't that good either. If it were then more people would be in Gallia trading. It needs to be a little higher if you want more activity.

There is only one commodity that sells for more than 4 million and that is military vehicles from BS Epinal in Lorraine to BS Carcossonne in Languedoc. Then you could take neon back to Alesia. It takes 30 min round trip (Epinal > Carcosonne > Lodeve> Alesia > Lixheim > Epinal). So if you made 2 full trips you are going to make 26 million per hour roughly.

Would be nice to see more activity in Gallia.

Just throwing my own two cents in here as well. I think this is an excellent idea and will really help an area with huge potential to flourish. I support this entirely.

Good idea. More activity for Gallia would be nice, a bonus to trading should be in order, too.

I hear Union Corse can smuggle within Gallia's borders. Do they have any good routes?

I agree. It would also promote gallic faction participation which, although I'm not a member of any of them, would make for some fresh RP around sirius. The mining idea though, seems like an excellent compromise. I would also suggest giving the council bases some good commodity prices, since to my knowledge they're the ones that are supposed to interact with sirians the most and they should be in great need of supplies.

This is the next problem. But it can be solved easily....

Make the selling price for cardamine higher, so the brigands and others can smuggle it...this will bring activity to them (they profit from it), the lawfuls (who are against cardamine), and also the council (which is also against cardi as far as i know). Other illegal stuff could include: slaves, artifacts... for other unlawfuls mainly (i don't know the devs' plans on this)

The same for the corporations...make higher selling prices for legal commodities, everyone will (again) profit from it, and it will make Gallia as active as a real house, and that's how it should be.....so that it's as attractive from both the lawful as the unlawful point of view.

Such changes need to be balanced carefully.

Adding drop off points (niobium very close to T23?) and fiddling with the selling prices will result in changes of existing flows and thus reduce players at other places.

Incireasing activity in one region by drawing players from another is not really such a great idea, imho.

Remember ..You can sell nio ore on Holman for almost 3k apiece and Kensington shipping in NL for 4.7k apiece

Good Idea however...

A couple of issues I see...

First of all, the server limit of 200 and over 100 systems, we are never going to see mass traffic all over. I hope to god Canon gets that multi server thing to work so eventually they can give each house its own server.

Secondly, never under estimate the power of "lolwuts" they will be there, they will lolwut and there will be more griping on forums.

...On a sidenote, I would like to suggest more limited trading between older houses and the Gallia as well with Gallic factions picking sides on houses.

So for example Council may start limited trade with Liberty ( I think they already do) and Bretonia while the Royals chose Rhineland (may be since they both are strict military and rhinelanders may be willing to assist GRN against a liberty Ally).Reason? can you imaging a GRN convoy going to New Berlin to get diamonds (may be essential in production of their oil burning ships) through Liberty (diamonds from Rhineland eh? both good and bad) and Bretonia (GRN... drop your cargo scum...from both Good and bad again) where they would be Shot on sight. This would make for epic cargo runs (with good rewards I hope, as long as the gallic ships are all red with Kusari houses).
