Now, InGame,Reality states its alwaus,ready, so how is it metagaming if you see a hostile force in your home?

Worse metagaming is looking in a message labeled Order,High Command and have your Navy char know all.

What then? Remove Comm Channel?
Next someone metagames your story.

Remove Stories and Biographies?

Removal wont solve metagaming.

Just cripples RP.

Give the Scanners a new and better use? As in, the higher the scanner 'quality' the further it can scan into neighboring systems so it reveals what system the user is in? Friend or foe?

Hmm, I actually like that idea. :) Scout ship RP would be vastly boosted.

You got what this does wrong. So i probly was not clear enough.
If in say..Ontario it will show you as Liberty space.
If in Gamma it will say Corsair space.
If in OC Guard system it will say Outcast space
If Cortez/bering,and other such systems it states Independent space,or Unclaimed space.


Now i did like the results,and comments(most comments). Very little flames/troll's. I will agree with alot of what is said. I have myself used Chat when trading. I scan system ahead,and if i see a bunch of known Pirates,or names like "black beard" i will use a JH,or dock,and log to a diff character. This does not make it right,and since i used this add on in a diff server i found it anoying at first,but then i started to say to myself. "this is much more fun,and exciting not knowing if that pirate in Liberty is on other side of next Jumpgate,or 3 systems away". I cannot tell you how many times i have seen 5-6 ships suddenly pop into empty system when my Hessien shows up. Or how many pirates run and hide when a bunch of [LN] log in.
Is it easier? yes. Is it more fun? i do not think so. I takes away from the fun. Like using a cheat book for a new game before you actually play through it. Or knowing what you got for Christmas before you open the gift.Just not as exciting.
I know it will never be implemented,but i was just curious to see the results,and comments is all.
