Yet another reason we need game masters.
That and in-game effects for in-rp things.
IC try to RP wit you, u no RP wit IC, cuse IC doesn't have uber-skilled snub pilots in-game to back it up.
This is a far more reaching problem than simply Kusari.
if a faction doesn't have the numbers or pvp skill in-game to make your factions life hell, it doesn't matter what sort of powers the lore or RP gives them.
You can just go "No u, i'm not rp'ing" and go along your merry merry way.
This is why military factions eventually pick up governing, no matter what else may be tried, and why official factions with command structures are needed.
Beacuse tehy are the only ones able to enforce jack crap, and they can only do it with in-game pvp.
Most of Disco isn't rp, it's "pewpew while that zoner over there rps, then go write a story justifying my pewpew"

Hell, one side winning in PvP no matter rp is the only way any conflicts on disco get resolved.

It's going to go on forever.
Why?
Beacuse neither side will ever back down unless it gets it's ass handed to it in game, all the time.
That's why the Sigma-13 Junker incident ended.
Beacuse the Junkers didn't have the pewpew skills to combat the KPT.
Everybody on Disco runs around, looking to win and screw over other factions, but not once do they look towards resolving what conflicts are already there.
That's what i've been trying to do with IC, break down embargos, create peace, but nobody's having it.
Blargh.

It was an in-rp comment made by the Emperor during a public press conference. It was not in anyway intended to be lore, much more something to appease the Kusari public and keep them confident in the situation. Are we not allowed to lie in RP anymore?
I dont know what kind of reserves Kusari has. I do know we have the only producer in Sirius outside the GMG and I do know we have the largest Hfuel storage facility in Sirius.

Behold, a real life analogy that will be shot down without a moments hesitation:
China is the largest producer of rare earth metals, which are used in -everything-, from gameboys to steak knives to cruise missiles. China decides that it doesn't like country X, and stops exporting to them. India is the second largest producer of said metals, and does like country X.
In disco-land, we would say country X should be alright. After all, it has the second largest suppliers behind it. But then, we ignore the facts that China produces over 96% of the world's supply of these materials, and India produces but 2% of the world's supply.
In case you were wondering, Ctrl+R China to GMG, and India to Kusari.

Actually, Kruger produces small quantities at Mannheim and I think the Coalition has a single gas miner :crazy:
Passive aggressiveness and other ill beings of the mind can be left outside this link.
Both GMG and Kusari as whole consist of players who are at least polite if not more than that.
'sides this point I'd like to add that things are reaching conclusions at all sides or if you want, reaching conclusions about the Hfuel crisis (since that covers it all)
