' Wrote:You know what, I am done with this. I am tired of being vilified and demonized because I play characters that are hostile to the Junkers. Hawk, you just tell me what you want the relations between the Exiles and the Junkers to be and that is what it will be. You want us to hold hands and cuddle, fine. I am over it. After 3 or 4 years of being told that you hold personal bias against a group just because you play your characters the way the role play lays out is, I think too much for anyone. Hell, we might as well just get rid of all hostile reps for the junkers, that way there will never be any hostile NPCs and you cant just go around as the neutral to all trading corp that you want the congress to be. Really I am done. I really dont care if you want to rp it out at this point anyway, its not worth my time to deal with people who are so adamant that I personally hate them. Tell me what you want relations to be between the junkers and the exiles and I will tell Del to set it up. Really there is nothing in a game that is worth this kind of hassle and personal hostility and bias toward someone. I have played the role of the big, bad boogey man for the Junkers for far too long I think. God I miss Rudo, he understood what this was, but the rest, you, Tinkerbell just cant seem to understand that it's not a personal thing, it is that I want to play my characters and factions the way they are supposed to be player. Whatever, I am over it, post what you want in here and it will be done, because clearly to not accede to the wishes of the Junkers means that you are an awful bitter person, and that's just not who I am, regardless of what the Junkers have spent years trying to convince people of. You win, the whine has finally broken me and I just dont care anymore. Who needs RP in this community anymore anyway, when you can just complain and demonize the people who disagree with you oorp until they havent the energy to argue about it anymore.
This is brilliant. Really it is. And my people are the ones complaining. I really have to call you out on this one. Really.
Show me where in this thread I said that Junkers should not be hostile to Exiles.
Show me where in this thread I said that this was a personal vendetta against Junkers by you.
Show me where in this thread I accused you of hating us.
What I have been saying is that although Junkers SHOULD be hostile to the exiles, placing an exile battleships within firing range of a friendly station that Junkers use was probably not a good idea. What I have been saying is that when the exiles rep causes other ships and bases to start shooting at Junkers when they normally would not do so it does not promote RP it suppresses it.
I have not accused you of any personal hatred against the Junkers. I accused you (and rightfully so) of making abusive and disrespectful posts. At the beginning of this thread, rather than provide encouragement (as a leader in the community should do) you chose to respond with sarcastic snide comments that berated people for expressing an opinion. I find that offensive. There still has been no apology for that I might add.
I'm not asking for no hostilities between us. That would make no sense and I've been saying that all along. Be as hostile as you want. You keep asking us to RP this and believe me we have a plan for that as well. However, as I have pointed on on multiple occasions, it is very hard to continue and form of RP when everything in the area (basses, battleships, and patrols) suddenly goes hostile to you when they shouldn't be hostile and you have to drop everything and run away.
You keep trying to bring up some dark past between you and the Junkers. I've put that behind my a long time ago and I can't help but think that in reality you don't want to bring that up.

You know what I want? I want people to be treated with respect and dignity. I want people to be able to express an opinion (even an incorrect one) without being made to feel like they are stupid for having an opinion. There really is a civil way to discuss these issues. You'll find that I'm quite willing to do so. In the end I just want people to be able to have fun here. This isn't about personal grudges and hatred for me. I've got too much of that nonsense in real life.

The very first time I tried to RP with you on this server I was falsely accused of breaking RP and thrown in the Bastille. Momma taught me to be careful and not get burned twice.
Proposed temporary fix/solution:
- Move Nagasaki some 6K away from Stokes, on the opposite side of the lane clearing.
- Tweak reps between BAF/Bret corps and Exiles that red Exiles do not trigger red BAF/BMM. This will also mean that Exiles don't come to the aid of BAFfers under attack by anything that Exiles themselves don't consider a target.
Exiles get to stay hostile to Junkers. Junkers get to dock at Stokes (if they can dodge a Hatchet/Chimera patrol or two). Everybody happy?

Works just fine for me. Thank you for that. We will be happy with this, and we will still be contributing to the RP of Bretoniga.

Both would be fantastic, although the preferred method would be the latter personally. I'd rather not run into a random KuEx patrol and have the place light me up, regardless of where I am in relation to Stokes.

Were the quotes really necessary? I'm pretty new here, only been on the server a couple of months. This thread is my first impression of you as an admin and as a person. You sound like you're maybe going through a rough time and I wish you the best, but I might suggest you cool off a bit and put some distance between yourself and this issue/thread/etc. It seems to be bringing out some negative vibes. Just a suggestion.
An offer has been made. I think it's a decent one. Let's give them a chance now.
I got mad because many of the comments on here were only fueling the fire and not working toward a solution. Please don't contribute to that. I think we should all step away from this thread and give them a chance.
Mkay, the proposed quickfixes are implemented for update 4 which should be soonish:
- Kusari Exiles and Bretonian lawful factions fully neutral to eachother. Should prevent one going red with the other.
- Nagasaki has been moved northwest until it is about 3.5k from stokes, which is outside the range of it's weapons aside from the odd pulse cannon. This will prevent anyone docking/undocking from Stokes from getting blown up by it.
Any further actions are dependent on roleplay.
