Ladies and Gentlemen, let me introduce you to the finest assembly of ship pilots in the wide galaxy, the Sirius Gunboat Association. Rejoice my fellow captains, this club is exclusive. You do not have to worry, only the finest pilots and captains around, namely the gunboat and gunship captains and pilots will be given an opportunity to enter our halls.
Our club has a very simple structure, with no distinct leadership. We do however have our representatives which will take care of public relations and such. We are a club for everyone who appreciate the fine lines, the raw power and the majestic appearance of the fine Gunboat and Gunship class vessel. We would like to share our view with the rest of Sirius, and beyond if possible.
We may act within what one could call semi-lawful lines. IF we don't like what we see, we might aid the lawful forces as we see it fit, or, we will obliterate the lawmen with superior force and ferociousness. We will, with force if necessary, spread our philosophy to the masses. Let it be known that no admiral, commander or pilot is equal to or above a gunboat or gunship captain/pilot. For those who pilot a gunboat, those are superior.
If you do not share our way of life, then you have yet to see the light. Such pilots that think their ships are better, stronger, more beautiful or more gracious then ours, their simply wrong, and shall be corrected by force if our words cannot change their mind.

Requirements to enter
As previously stated, one MUST be the captain of a gunboat or gunship class vessel. No bigger nor smaller vessel will suffice. One must be using the appropriate ID/IFF of the faction your ship belongs to. This is paramount as you will be doing ordinary faction roleplay when other clubmembers are not around.

Questions and answers: Question: Will you be using a sort of tag in your name? Answer: No, we will be using the "/setinfo" command to state that we are members of the Sirius Gunboat Association.
Question: Why do i see Gaians and Corsairs together with Cutcasts and Hessians? Answer: When conducting "SGA" business we will put our differences aside, in any other setting we would shoot each-other. We are by no mean best friends, but we all admire and love the gunboats we and the others fly. This admiration make us band up in hope to spread the word.
Question: I'm a independent Navy/Military gunboat captain, how can i join? Answer: Due to our club members, usually originating from unlawful or shady factions, information that should not be told to lawfuls might happen to be discussed within. It is also a concern that having a lawful in our group might be unfortunate for him/her incase we decide to.... help some outgunned criminals in the name of fairness and equality.
Question: Why do you not all use a freelancer ID/IFF and ask the factions for a gunboat? Answer: Erm, because unlike many other groups, we do occasionally like to do normal faction RP. Which is impossible by using Freelancer ID/IFF as we would simply not be a part of that npc faction, but merely a result of player to player negotiations.
Question: What right does it give you to fly wherever you want? Answer: Simply put it like this; We are THE Sirius Gunboat Association. If we wish to spread our philosophy around, we would obviously have to travel to wherever the people are. One can only efficiently spread the word if oneself look past the horizon.
It is also a fair chance that by showing off a wide selection of gunboats and gunships to the general public, we will convince them that our way of life, is the right way of life.
Question: If i want to cry, whine, bitch and moan about you blowing up my ship because i do not like your philosophy or outright reject it, where can i post? Answer: A thread will be created as soon as we get a few more members.
Question: Is this a faction? Answer: No it's not. This is a "Club" or rather a group of likeminded players who occasionally group together to tell everyone else how pathetic their ships are. We do not use one ID/IFF as this is not a faction, its more like a fan-club one might say. Like in real life, the fan-club members put their differences aside to share their joy with others who love the same as them, regardless of race, nationality and origin.
A short guide to identifying a member of the S.G.A
We will be using the "/Setinfo" command to identify us. If you find an Gunship or Gunboat class vessel operating in rather strange areas, or behaving out of what one would call normal RP, please use the "/showinfo" command to crosscheck if said ship belongs to the S.G.A.

A member of the S.G.A will use whatever means necessary to spread the philosophy shared by the S.G.A members. This means that a player MAY operate outside his/her original zone of influence to ensure that said philosophy is spread to the people of Sirius. good question, if definition of player clan does not make it a faction, of which our RP would collide with server rules, then yes, it is a player clan.
Yes a group of gunships cannot be put down, but this is what makes it fun. First off all, we shall spread our message. Those who do not listen, reject us or attack us, chase us, shall have our message engraved on their hulls.
Yes it would be "imbalanced" if you can conclude that 1983490350238423xe10 cruisers, battleships, dreadnoughts ganking ONE lone nomad morph isnt imbalanced.....
This is, NOT a joke. Its a project. To see if there can be such a group in existence, and to see if player RP, faction RP could possibly be put aside to create a third kind of roleplay that is kind of objective. Our roleplay does not focus on territory, revenge or hatred like most faction or player roleplay does. Instead its built upon admiration for an object, admiration, not religion, which i have yet to see many factions try.
For now, don't complain, see how it goes ok? THEN whine about us....

Will this clan be existing inRP ?
Within its own Roleplay.
Example: If we get an Corsair member and an Outcast member, they will within their normal everyday RP hate eachother. But within times where we operate as an group, we will put such differences aside. The hope is to let members still do some dirt throwing at eachother while acting as unified.
Ofcourse, we still has to get enough members to kinda, well get it all spinning. So until we get some more, it will be hard to balance our line between "hey lets team up" and "telling the other party to shove it". But this is what makes it exiting right? The ability to have something other then "enemy of my enemy" as reason for two enemies to team up against something.
As of now, only times you see OC and CO team up is when ROS/GMG shows up. Likevise, if wilde appears, RM and LN teams up and gank them (yes ive seen it countless times) then goes on like nothing happened before... This is also one of the things i would test, if we could manage to pull this kinda behaviour off without ending up biased in terms of raids and such....
Ofcourse you will be outgunned sooner or later... but let me put it this way...you fly a hussar as a bpa officer and there are hardly 5 hussars online..And then a ganksquad of gunboats arrive in the system...How would that feel?
Edit: And what your roleplay will be? Screaming PEOPLE BUY GUNBOATS THEY ROCK on system chat,and if someone does not agree just shoot him down?
