An assault & reconnaissance strike force commanded by the Buro Der Marineintelligenz will attempt to infiltrate the system of Hudson & Texas. The unknown size strike force will fly towards the New York Jump Hole in the Texas system and will arrive shortly in New Yorks famous Badlands gas pocket. Once there, the strike force will attempt to fly quickly and swiftly towards the Zone-21 mine-protected perimeter. The strike force will be carrying electronic scrambling devices that will disable all communication flows from Zone-21 for 125 minutes.
Stage One of the Operation.
The strike force will have 125 minutes exactly to successfully complete their total operation of completing a complete surveillance scan and recording sweep of the famous Alaska system. There are three stages to the operation.
In Stage one, the strike force will need to eliminate a heavy =LSF= defense & patrolling force within the minefield before being able to go onto Stage Two. If the strike force fails to defeat the =LSF= force, the operation is failed and no more stages will continue onwards. If the strike group defeats the =LSF= force, Stage one is successful and the strike force will move onto Stage two.
Stage Two of the Operation.
In this stage of the operation, the strike force with whatever state it remains in after stage one will attempt to jump to Zone-21 where it will begin to move into the dense unknown fields of the system. A much smaller =LSF= presence will attempt in any way to halt this and again destroy or capture the strike force. If the strike force successfully get away from the interceptors, they will begin stage three.
Stage Three of the Operation.
The strike force had 125 minutes before any additional non =LSF= support could be called into action. However long it took for the first two operations to be completed will be subtracted from the original figure. Stage three will be a sweep of the system, capturing all details they spot. This part will take 20 minutes.
The latter part of stage three is the actual retreat back to friendly territory. If the 20 minutes of system surveillance plus the first two stages total time reaches over 125 minutes, then the strike force is going to have a hard time getting home. Since Navy characters can be called to stop the strike force. RP-ed as communications being back up and the =LSF= finally being able to get aid.
If however the strike force gets all three stages done before 125 Minutes then its going to be an easy journey home as no Navy/outside LSF characters will know of the assault until it is too late.
Outcomes of the Operation
For a successful mission, the strike force needs to land exactly 5+ships involved in the operation on planet Hamburg. A successful mission means a full Rheinland knowledge of the Alaska system, available for future RolePlay.
A partially successful mission is between 3-5 ships landing on planet Hamburg. This means that a bit of knowledge is know about the system. A lot more than is currently known by the Rheinland Forces.
A failed mission is 2-0 ships landing on planet Hamburg. This means no new knowledge is known about the system to the Rheinland Forces.
Exact talks on the number of pilots evolved in each stage will be discussed here for further editing. Once the number of pilots from each side has been agreed, members of the factions can then sign up. Date of the event is currently unknown. Alterations to the plot are welcome. Comments from ANYONE are also needed.
You will get attacked by LSF forced 3 times, 3rd time being with any backup they can get around Liberty..well around NY to be precise.
So you'll have to balance this really carefully, also for example
Stage 1
If you make numbers equal from both sides, this event might end up fast (well one battle, doesn't mean it has to be fast), but also if BDM surviving ships is number less then 5 in first fight, there is an really bad chance of you actually winning coz..you got two more stages of battles.
I think either you'll have to get BDM backup and not attack/fly to alaska with all ships you got.
I say go for it to make Joe mad, coz..making Joe mad is good reason for everything.

On a slightly less off topic note... The event I proposed is a two part deal. I'll be working with Avalanche and the RM leadership to try and hammer it into a workable form. I'll be honest, the ideas we just came up with are fairly exciting, and don't have consequences which go too far for either side.
Also I was a bit against it without consulting anyone from [LN],=LSF= first it's not that bad idea.
Let's see what you guys will come up with, and why not make it risky on both sides, if we get knowledge to Alaska you can have knowledge to something else... Like the Westerwald cloud.

Why not have the LSF ships chase them through the systems that go from Texas to Rheinland, like Minnesota and whatnot? After Stage Three, the BDM ships have to go back to Munster in Bremen, or something like that. It'd make more sense than just to Hamburg, and be more challenging.
