Message to: The Brotherhood and its allies
Brothers, allies, I have a horrible message for you. Our great Elder and greater friend, Pedro Maniaco, could not be found anymore after the battle in Sigma-17 ended. He was aboard the Altaneria. It hurts to say, but, I assume he lost his life, together with the Altaneria.
He was a man everybody respected and loved like a blood brother. Strong, courageous and with a cunning mind he was fighting for his, no, our goal until the end. Rest in peace, Pedro Maniaco. May your soul find its way to the heaven.
But let us not be weak, brothers. Though Pedro won't be fighting with us, he will still be there and fill our spirit with strength and courage. Let us not let him down.
On the other side, I am glad to welcome our new sister, Teresa Chavez, daughter of the great Elder Pedro Maniaco. Welcome Teresa, and may we crush our enemies!

*BEGINNING TRANSMISSION*
I hear you have failed in Rheinland. I have more bad news for you. Our man on Yaren has failed. It seems our man in the Kusari Military has been lying to us. He will die for it soon.
Meanwhile, you should be warned. There are Nomads coming your way. And they are more powerful than any others. Our man in Rheinland did manage to injure the Bundschuh, but he was killed in the process by a traitor.
All of our plans have failed thus far, due to traitors and the mistakes of others. However, we will rebuild... and attempt again.

You could not even imagine how miserable my state of mood is at the moment. Pedro was like a father to me more than a brother and I had a lot to learn from him, from his wisdom. It gives great agony now trying to believe that he is lost. And it is also painful to be retreating as a Corsair but the situation is too grave to be emotional right now. May your soul be at rest Pedro, the great leader of our brotherhood. You will always be remembered and teached to many more generations and we will do our utmost to protect your daughter. Brothers, We do need to defend Gamma at all costs, for the brotherhood, for Pedro !!
Hola Hermanos. The recent death of Pedro Maniaco has sullen the hearts of every Brotherhood member, and I am as distressed as you are. However, I must request to transfer from Crete to Omicron Delta at Yaren Depot and set up a facility for my personal use. My researches are of a personal nature, but in no way have to do with the Nomads. My usual patrol will always take me to Gamma and will gladly rush back in case of an attack. I have also made contact with Freeport 11 and have learned that the Nomad infestation is growing, possibly even starting to awaken. A Brotherhood member there would be a great asset and am humbly requesting this position.
Thank you for hearing me. Juan Lucendez out.

"The thirteen saloons that had lined the one street of Seney had not left a trace. The foundations of the Mansion House hotel stuck up above the ground. The stone was chipped and split by the fire. It was all that was left of the town of Seney. Even the surface had been burned off the ground.
Nick looked at the burned-over stretch of hillside, where he had expected to find the scattered houses of the town and then walked down the railroad track to the bridge over the river. The river was there."

Due to engagement reports in Rheinland we have been recieving recently, our council has finally decided to begin negotiations with TBH about limited access to Corsair weaponry under the guidance and approval of the Elders. Since we are currently low on resources, we will not be able to offer you more than a decent bid in return, however we are willing to aid you anytime with the utmost hospitality within our zone of influence.

Hail...this is Jupiter Guild Rakghoul. Thank you for listening to me the other day. I really appreciated that. Now back to business, the Zoner Base in Delta has been attacked numerous times by a trio of nomad entities. Jupiter Guild is awaiting permission from the Council of Zoners before we move part our fleet to go and engage these entities. We (JG) request permission to fly through Your Territory to protect Freeport 11 (just a heads up). We plan to stay in the cloud and use the unknown Jump hole. As a token of appreciation, I am willing to send a convoys of food filled transports (9000 units) to Crete (with the councils permission of coarse). We can Jettison cargo in space close to the planet or dock and deliver...what ever the brotherhood deems better. (ooc: If I dock, I will provide the profits to any TBH member).
Please let us know, as using gamma to reach Freeport 11, some times is of utmost importance.
PEACE
Pip out.

Our enemies seem to close on us all at once... The RM, outcasts and a new form of Nomad. These are dark
times for the Corsair Empire. My Gunboat and Titan will remain at Crete, and come what may, fight. To the
death fellow Corsairs we defend the homeland!
My Brothers, it seems old rivalries don't stand still while we mourn. Tonight, an overextended fleet of Outcast ships invaded Gamma and wiped out Skyelius, Ximen Benitez and myself. Sky can give you the details of his fight and Ximen can show you some pictures of the stupidly large Outcast fleet. My own fight was not very good, I was flying around trying to stall in order to bring in more Corsair or allied forces into the region, but alias, my Titan gave way. The most interesting part, however was right before the attack.
I was patrolling Gamma, Kappa (Unknown), Delta and the like when corisno (i think thats how you spell his name) radioed in to tell me of some faction called the QCO. At first I couldn't place them but then I realized they were Bretonican and asked for assistance. Corisno was under a tight schedule and couldn't make it but I rushed to Kappa to ascertain what the Armed Forces were doing in Corsair space. After attempting to communicate, a transmission came in from something called the "Queen's Ransom." He was annoyed for some reason that I was bothering his pilots and told me an Outcast fleet was enroute to Gamma. Naturally I thanked him and burned H-fuel to Crete were I promptly locked the docking ring and attempted to organize a defense. My grand fleet of myself and Ximen didn't last long, but we did manage to stall long enough for Skyelius to fly in and heroically and graciously take down their one and only fighter (to my knowledge). I tell you, you could see the Destroyers' plasma flying in all directions in the Crete sky trying to lock onto Skyelius and failing. Skill can only get you so far, however and his Titan was destroyed.
Although a definite defeat, I ponder at why in hell's circles would the Queen's Ransom give us this information? Crete may be burning right now if it weren't for whomever this turns out to be.

Subject: Battle Report 2007.10.29A
Today some Outcast scum seeking revenge for their great loss in our last strike (where a small fleet of our ships destroyed several capital ships, many fighters an bombers, including an Asgard ship) entered Gamma.
We had completely destroyed their forces that day. Unexpectedly today, a fleet of 3 Outcast Destroyers and 2 Raven's Talon fighters entered Crete space. By the time I had launched, I found myself alone, both fighters that were available to defend had already been wiped out. I headed for Tripoli after detecting the ships in the distance, and radioed for in-system assistance. It never came, but one of our ships launched from Crete soon after. It was overwhelmed by the enemies and soon was forced to cruise away. It was being chased until it was finally disrupted, so I went in to assist and managed to destroy one of the fighters less than 5 seconds after disengaging my cruise drive. I targeted the other fighter, but before I could realize what had happened, the onboard computer not able to alert me of the danger due to its speed, my ship was destroyed by an enormous missile barrage from one of the destroyers, the Martinez of the 101st. My Titan was ripped apart by the explosions, but then one of our patrols picked up the escape pod and was able to safely transport me to Crete after which the pilot headed back to space to defend the planet with his life. The Outcasts won today, and left, but they were unable to get the revenge they hoped for. Happy and finally repelled, the ships headed back to the craphole they came from.
This teached us that we must not be carried away by recent losses. We must strive to survive in a harst universe, as many have managed to in the past. We must be alert for our enemies and be ready to defend our territory or destroy their forces.

You have permission to move your ship to Delta, to have a operative there may come in handy.
