Zack looked at the gun, scratch marks across it, indicating the amount of kills. And there were alot. He threw the gun at Clyde, who was standing there a bit stricken by it all. He jogged after Bonnie catching up to her. "Hey listen-"
He was stopped dead in his tracks by the tear he saw on her cheek.
"I never thought I would see you cry. Here, take this, head out, clear your mind, do what you need to. We will be here when you get back. He handed her another chit, this one to her near completed ship. The sight of a strong person crying was enough to upset him again. He gave Clyde a look that clearly said "Get your butt to your woman!"

Clyde caught Bonnies gun that was hurled at him. He rarely ever held the gun that Bonnie held so dear. The lives she took with it, and the times it saved her life. He grabbed the blasters power cell off the ground and slid it back into the mag-compartment. He glanced around and saw Bonnie over by her new ship. He walked over to her, and handed her back her gun. He refused to get emotional when Bonnie was upset. Wasn't often she shed tears, and he didn't want Bonnie to feel like he was condescending upon her. He grabbed a greasy work rag, and wiped her face with it. "Your eyes are leaking, I better sort that out." he said as he wiped away the tears, leaving smears of grease on her face. "Why not help fix that new vessel of yours?"

Clyde grabbed a monkey wrench and pretended to fix something the wrong way, knowing full well that Bonnie will stop him and tell him he is doing it wrong. It was bound to get her mind of the mess in her head.

[font=Times New Roman]"I never thought I would see you cry. Here, take this, head out, clear your mind, do what you need to. We will be here when you get back." [color=#000000]She shook her head, and handed him back the card to his ship, the one he had given her earlier. With that she walked over to the new ship, checking it over, the usual pre flight checks she did before going out to cause havoc, frowning slightly. Something was off, but she couldn't pin point what it was. She hadn't noticed Clyde standing by her until he handed her back the gun. She ran her fingers over the lines carved into it, wondering if she would have gone through with it, and shot Alex. She only had wanted to scare him into telling her who did this. So many lives had been taken with that gun, yet she never felt bad about it. She then realised that was what was wrong with the ship, all the crosses on the side of her old one, also counting the kills, were not there. She sighed, new ship meant starting over.

Clyde wiped the tears away, saying something about her eyes leaking. She felt like an idiot, she never had thought she would end up in that state in front of everyone. She missed the next thing Clyde said, too far lost in thought for it to register in her head. Bonnie shook her head when she saw him attempting to replace a small panel on the left side on the front of the ship,
"Clyde.. You're doing it wrong..." She hesitated for a moment, before pointing out he was turning the bolt the wrong way, loosening it instead of tightening it. The panel he was putting on now was one salvaged from her old ship, something she was proud of, spending hours painting it to perfection; a rose and a smoking gun. "I guess I should apologise to Alex then, huh?" She said quietly, trying to keep her emotions in check, it was almost convincing enough to make the average person believe she was fine, but not the crew on board the ship - they knew her too well for that.

Alex sighed. What was it with everyone and blaming him today? He shook his head and climbed into his Eagle.

"Bonnie," He said tapping his comm keys. "I'm going to go find who did this to Rufus because I don't know yet. But I have a pretty good idea where to start looking." He started the power sequence on his Eagle.

"If you're coming then come. Otherwise I won't be back until I have the person who did this." He maneuvered his Eagle out of The Intruder's hangar and waited outside to see if Bonnie would come.

[font=Times New Roman]Bonnie nodded and jumped in the new ship, waiting for Clyde to finish attaching the panel before beaconing him over, and kissing him, she ignored the hesitation on his side which she could only put down to the fact the last time she did that, he got a good knock to the jaw. She then powered up the ship, and following Alex into space. She set it up so she could contact him via private coms before sighing, her voice sounded shaky when she spoke next; [color=#FF99FF]"Alex, Sorry about before.. I didn't mean to do.. I just don't like seeing the team like this.." With that she fell silent for a few minutes, trying to ignore her emotions while doing the normal pre flight, in ship checks, making sure she had the right oxygen supply and air pressure, as well as ammo for her side arm, before hitting the com button again. "Is anyone else going to be coming? I mean, I'm sure the guys on deck would have a thing or two to say to whoever did this." She nodded, happy with the ship, even though it wasn't her old one. She laughed slightly when she saw the diamond necklace hanging in her ship. She grabbed it, putting it around her neck, making a note to thank Zack next time she saw him, and to ask where he found it, she thought she had broken and lost it in the crash.

"Don't worry about it." Alex replied. "At least you didn't punch me like a certain other crew member who shall remain unamed." He cleared his throat and started his engines up.

"I don't think anyone else is coming right now. I want to keep stealth as the priority here and large numbers aren't condusive to that. Anyway, we best start with the remains of Rufus's ship. Maybe I can pull something from the black box."

Alex set course for Freeport 14 which was supposedly where Rufus was being treated and where he expected the remains of his ship to be...

[font=Times New Roman]Bonnie nodded, before saying [color=#FF99FF]"Yeah, not that pulling a gun on you was much better.. You know I wasn't actually going to shoot you ae.. I just wanted to know who had done this." She followed Alex on an abnormally quiet route to Freeport 14, hoping there would be some answers there, or she would get to go in to see Rufus if nothing else; thinking to her self he would have much better chance there with the zoners then anywhere else in Sirius. They eventually arrived at the station, and received clearance to dock; Which Bonnie did so quickly while performing all the necessary tasks required before leaving her ship, including making sure everything was still in check, and starting a new log of events and time aboard the ship. She climbed down the ladder and turned to Alex, speaking quietly "Do you think we can see him, if for nothing else but to let the guys back home know he is doing ok.." She looked away, before adding, "Some news is better then none, right?"

Alex nodded slowly.

"You can go see him." He replied. He opened his mouth to say more but closed it again when he couldn't think of what to say. "I'll... come by once I'm done with the black box." He turned and walked off with the bag containing his laptop in tow.

He'd never known Rufus very well, but whoever did this had struck a blow to everyone in The Society. He hated seeing everyone so down beat and dejected. He'd find the person who did this, and he'd make sure it never happened again.

[font=Times New Roman]Bonnie nodded a thanks to Alex, and sighed; [color=#FF99FF]"I wasn't as close to him as I would have liked.. He was a good guy, did a lot for The Society.. This isn't fair to have happened to him.." She headed to the access doors in the station as Alex said something about coming up when he had finished with the black box. She was rolling herself a cigarette with no intentions of smoking it, a habit she had picked up when she was nervous. "I'll see you up there." She looked back at him to see Alex heading to the wreck with his laptop, "I hope he finds something... Anything.." she said quietly to herself as she headed up to the medical wing.

She found the room Rufus was in, and hesitated for a minute before working up the courage to go in to see the man she looked up to, both as her boss and a friend. She walked quietly into the room, pulling up a seat by his bed and taking his hand.
"Whoever did this to you, won't get away with it.." She said to him quietly looking up at the screens monitoring his heart rate, oxygen levels, and other things she was unsure of through the tears she was trying so hard to hold back, while attempting to ignore the numerous amount of tubes and wires attached to him. She hated seeing him so helpless like this. "I promise you, they wont get away with this..."
