No nanos, no bots, and guns twice as powerful.

Dogfights should be 2-5 minute affairs. Not 20-50.

Aeternus' idea.

Less bot, less bats, less powerful armor modifiers.

There need to be changes. Fighter fights that last for hours is just not what it should be => my hands hurt regularly and at some point I just start harakiri-fighting to get an end... I don't care which.

Bombers that die from being attacked by fighters always AFTER they have wrecked all larger targets than Fighter are just not as it should be => escorting makes no sense.

I wish there was something that could be done about it, some of us simply don't have the time to get caught up in a 40 minute long duel, but sadly this is the best there is to avoid severe gank

Exactly what Henderson said. If you take a hypothetical situation of a trade convoy of 2 transports and 2 fighters, and they're attacked by 2 bombers, the transports will be dust WAAAAY before the fighters can even deplete the bombers' bots and bats, and then the bombers can just evade till they can escape. That is, of course, if all the participants are even half-decent pilots.

Sucks to be a weight on the wrong side of the brilliance-insanity scale.

It gives you a chance to escape or survive long enough for your reinforcements to arrive.
