I would just like to point out the GMG-Kusari conflict was made in a way to work with the new mod version. It's meant to be another lead-up to Kishiro taking over.
As for the rest, not getting involved. Yet another argument by people not paying attention to what's going on.
OH they commented on the GMG conflict? Shameful beasts. If everyone had their way ....in RP we all be furries nomad 5 year old sex crazy captains that are invincible and has hordes of power.
No I am not troubled by one person taking the mantle and deciding what is and what isn't.
Your RP irrelevant? yeah....sure if you make it to be.
I would like to say that despite the TWO completely different stories for Kishiro one is...cool...and the other one stiffs us. BUT considering this GMG conflict actually gives us the wiggle room to start really being strong on our own.
"Yet the Emperor refused to concede defeat and was soon overthrown by a group of politicians covertly backed by Kishiro and some of the Navy commanders."

Ah ok thank you sir. *insert opinion about a certain someone here*
Best thing is to play something unaffiliated and completely ignore the small few that happens to be "community" and dictates the route of everything.
Tsk, we players can do whatever we can ingame, demolish destroy invade and whatnot, but the outcome will ALWAYS be decided by very few folks, usually ignoring ingame reality but plotting some story nobody knows about, cares about or wishes to happen.
a good example of how ingame activity can affect developement is:
- the RM vs. TBH war ... i don t know too much about it - but what i gather is that it was consisting of a series of staged events under admin supervision. both sides agreed to the terms and consequences. there was no trolling and / or bitching about it - and the "players" were kind to each other - even if their "characters" would spit each other in the face.
- the Molly independence and integration into bretonias lawfuls. - well - i dont know if that was actually the plan ... of if the plan was to achieve semi independence. - the process was a long one ( probably still is ) - and the factions activities were sometimes strong and passionate, sometimes low and almost forgotten.
especially in that case however - the dev team tries to evaluate the consequences for the entire region. - cause we play war and not peace. - when everyone is at peace with the situation and its neighbours - the game itself suffers.
- another good example ( small scale though ) was when a Harvester transport made it to Gran Canaria - to be stopped by a fleet ... or smash into the planet, while being loaded up with nanobots to assimilate the population.
what all those have in common is ( or at least so i think ) - they were all multilateral agreements. - the involved parties were informed and if they had said "stop it, we don t like how it goes" - it would have stopped.
no one would have called them "pathetic Q_Qers".. no one would have said "deal with it...". - these three events were meant to be fun for all sides. - and they were all taken into consideration by the dev team.
sometimes something noticable comes out of it - sometimes not.
