[Torch Rose]

A younger woman walks into the cafe, holding a little girl's hand. The little blond haired girl runs up to Narelle and hugs her. "Mommy, you're back! Did you have a good day?" Narelle bends down laughing, and hugs her back. "Yes June, I had a very good day, how about you?" The little girl looks up at her and smiles. "I did!"

Yoko Mori darts into Sunbucks Cafe looking harried and rushed. After quickly glancing around the room, she spots Narelle and hurries over. "S- Sorry," she says, breathing heavily. "I-... I got lost."

Narelle looks up from June and sees Yoko standing there. "It's no problem Yoko, but there's signs telling you how to get here." June then pokes her head up from the other side of the table, being too short for the chair. "Hey! Who are you?"

"Tha-" Yoko begins, but she stops at the sound of June's small voice. She pushes a lock of her waist-length black hair out of her face as she leans down toward Narelle's young daughter. "So y- you must be J- June!"

The little girl nods. "Yea! I'm June, but who are you?" Narelle smiles and takes a sip from her glass. "Come on June, why can't you be shy like a normal kid?" June moves her gaze from Yoko to Narelle, yelling out a "Hey!" before falling off her chair onto the floor.

*Ben Skay strolls into Starbucks, smiling as he does so*
*He then takes a seat near the counter and calls the bartender over*

Hey! The usual!

*The barman walks over, inspecting Ben*

What do you mean "The usual"? Never seen you around here before...

*Ben sighs*

All right... I'll just have some of your best wine.

*The barman reaches to a shelf above the counter, picking a smartly labelled bottle, then gets a corkscrew and opens it, pouring some into a glass*

May I ask the special occasion sir?

*Ben looks up, handing over money for the wine*

Oh, it's my first day in the Police.
*He then takes a sip of the wine, smiling appreciatively at the wonderful tastes it evoked on his taste buds*

Jordan Clarkie set down his ship in the designated area and powered it down. he opened the cockpit hatch and stepped outside, all he saw was metal. this was a space station after all. he sealed the cockpit and engaged the security device. it was an ingenious device, that if someone who tried to start the ship he had to put in his hand on the scanner and if it didn't match up to the records the chair would restrain him and shock him with 250 000 volts and hold him there till the owner returned. As Clarkie walked inside he saw allot of people having a laugh, drinking, chatting and carrying on. he got up to the bar, sat down o0n one of the bar stools and turned his head to waiter who was coming towards him.
"one liberty ale please?" he asked
"sure thing" the bartender said. As he picked up the glass and brought it to the pump nozzle he said
"you new here stranger?"
Clarkie chuckled and said "yea, ill might come back here some time. ya know to drink or....."
The man that was sitting next to him who Clarkie had not even noticed turned round on his stool and puked on the floor. "Or to pick up friends who are well, to drunk to even know how to tell the difference between a ignition button and a eject button." he finished
"ah well, good luck to yer. that'll be $6.80"
Clarkie handed him a ten credit note.
"keep the rest."

Clarkie sat there holding his drink studying the bubbles in the ale. This would be his forth time he drank alcohol and every time he hated it. he raised his glass
"To Protect and Serve, and to kick anyone's ass who stands in the way" he said to himself. Clarkie chugged the thing whole and slammed it down.
"and THAT is why i don't drink alcohol." he said disgusted more at him self that he bought the darn thing. he got up and left a five credit tip in the car that had "tips" rough written on. he walked out the door and said "now to be a cop."

Fort Bush, Star Bucks. Daniel Dusentrieb, LPI recruit officer, had never been here before, even though he was working for the LPI for weeks now. He prefered the local pubs at Planet Manhattan capital. This time it should be Sunbucks. He was wondering whether the sign "All LPI eat free, navy and LSF pay triple." was a joke or the truth. "Nah.. can't be true.. or is this the way they spend the fines I collect for the LPI.. by giving us food for free?" he mumbled to himself.
Opening the double-wooden doors he almost felt back out of the cafe. "What the.. what a crowded place. No wonder why I barely notice other LPI in space" he thought. They are all here.
After quickly searching and finding an untaken seat at the bar, he ordered a big cup of latte macchiato along with three donuts. He just loves the taste of chocolate coating donuts dipped into some milky coffee.

"So what about the sign at the entrance?" he asked the bartender. "Hm?.. oh you mean THAT sign. Here you go, we have got some nice food rations said to contain only up to 20% Synth Paste for the most natural taste" responded the bartender while handing over a plastic bag with the big letters "Food Ration". "Erm. Thank you Sir, I just realized I am not that hungry at all." Daniel refused the offer.
"What a joke" he thought. Anyhow his coffee and donuts tasted great.

Daniel looked up the first time to take a look around. He tried to recognize the officers he had the honor to work with thus far.

LPI Recruit officer Jesse Mccloud stops at fort bush during his lunch break and opens the door to Sunbucks those donuts are amazing he sits at his table orders a few chocolate donuts and a nice hot coffee after devouring those donuts he looks at the time spits out his coffee and yells im late gotta get back on duty

Officer Johan smith was told about the cafe by a fellow officer in one of his patrols, he didnt have time to come beacuse he was at the red deer station doing some of his training, but when he went free, the first thing he did was going to forth bush to see the cafe.

"I'll take a box of donuts and normal cofee" he said, and then proceed to sit in an empty chair, he inspected everything, there were a lot of officers here.

He finish drinking his cofee and half a donut pack and went to his ship, "this is a nice place to visit while i am off-duty" he thought and launch his ship to space.
