First; docking on a base doesnt mean your allied to the owners, otherwise every pirate would be allied to the junkers, so theres no need to bother about that.

Second if you want to control all the dragons you'll have to take responsibility for them too, which you claim your not.

Third, if you do want to do this, I never had a problem with it - hence why in this tread I attempt to get you to say if your representing all the blood dragons, to which you replied:

so thats fine by me, if a ]bd[ tells me not to dock on kyoto ingame, I wont, but when not all the dragons dislike me why shouldnt I dock on a base used by all of them if theres no-one to say no?

Firstly, - I definitely worded my sentence wrongly and I do sincerely apologize - the allied thing was primarily about the working with blood dragons happily bit. We shouldn't really be interacting together on the same side unless in a hypothetical situation: the odds call for it in relation to both sides.

Secondly: I think you're definitely confusing the Blood Dragon NPC faction (for which we have control over) and Blood Dragon Independents (for which we don't have full control over, but have some degree of influence). If an independent does something undesirable, we will take the responsibility to attempt to have a chat with this independent about the affair. This is the level of responsibility that we take, no more. We have no direct control over them - and this isn't because we can't or don't want to because it's too much of a responsibility for us to do so - it's because it's a furthermore repression of independents which I'm sure (or maybe not, judging by your join date... you joined about the time I left I think) you would have heard of with the official factions vs independents discussions which went on and and on and on. By admin and community decree, we cannot do this.

In fact, why did I explain that for nothing. Let me sum it up clearly and simply to which you cannot really argue against - We have as much control over our faction and our independants as every other official faction does. We have as much control over what to do with our bases, diplomacy with other factions etc as every other official faction does. Let's not bring this into this dicussion because it's merely about the Faction rights, isn't it? Perhaps we could discuss it with dieter/otherfactionleaders in another topic.

To your third point, that was in relation specifically to that matter: We do represent the Blood Dragons. However, we cannot force every independent blood dragon etc to attack you. This is once again in relation to the Independent-Official factions relations, from which whilst we can give guidelines to how the RP of the faction would work, we cannot force independent RP of a person to do something. We can order an independent to attack you if we wished, but we cannot really order a Blood Dragon independent to actively hunt you down within Kusari (per say, to stop pirating and go hunt a privateer). This is something that only we can order each of our players to do. Ordering independent dragons is once again pushing the boundaries of the freedom of independents: Something which is very prominently felt amongst the communnity. /summon n00bl3t.

Lastly, it works the same way with you only that we have the upper hand. Why should you dock on Kyoto when no independent has complained about our treatment of Privateers, when not one of them has come forth and argued for your case? Even if there were independents, we would have to balance it amongst others - most people in the community both those who play blood dragons and don't - would agree with the current diplomatic status. EVEN THEN, we would have to balance this with the QCP (who I believe are now incorporated into the BAF and their leadership) into this diplomatic arrangement whether in RP or our of RP, either way I'm quite confident that the situation will remain that way. Of course, if things change then things change. Right now, we have the right to tell you not to dock on Kyoto, and have the right to make you (using faction rights IF IT EVER COMES DOWN TO THAT, which I hope not cos you're a pretty nice guy:P) stop docking if we have to.

xD Once upon a time, people asked me if I ever posted anything that wasn't short and useless.
I'll sum it up as short as I can.

We take responsibility for the whole Blood Dragon organization, however we cannot force indies to hunt you down if they don't want to (in relation to your quote).

Why should you stop? Because it is not in RP to dock on our base. The majority of dragons don't like you, and I'm pretty sure we have a mutual unfriendly diplomacy with the privateer faction (incorporated into the BAF if they are still). Most of the Blood Dragons dislike you, and once again a few indies are things we cannot control (by community dictation). No-body has asked us to let you stay. Therefore, you should stop, or as representatives of the NPC organization, we may have to make you stop.

I'm going to chirp in here and say that, Hone, you've run from ME on my KSP from New Tokyo all the way to Kyoto as well. You really need to stop dragging enemies back to your supposed allied or safe havens. Know that if you do it to Ainu, you'll be done there. I promise. Oh and as to "there wouldn't really be enough interest" for a feedback of yours. I disagree.

Oh, and... er, GO DRAGONS! :yahoo: :ylove: I wish there were more of you.
