Yo, just a note that I am the leader of the Corsair Brotherhood.

Working on some ideas for the faction, but if anyone has ideas, I am more than open minded about it.

Oh, and if you like me, you should join TBH. tbh XD

So anyways, I am the contact man again, if you need to talk to someone regarding the Brotherhood, I'm your guy.

Safe flying.

I would love to see more TBH members on Black Sails tournament. We had to postpone last one because there was small amount of people who would participate.

So if you can get your boys flying and talk to Espi about it, it would be fun and all....

Just an idea to promote Corsair gameplay and such

*Shrugs*

I remember discussing some ideas regarding another civil war of sorts with Vlko, each of the 3 corsair factions looking to topple the others and assume direct control . Can't recall the details of it but Vlko would remember.

It'd fit the nature of corsairs as a people, internal strife and fighting and all, and you'd get new people simply from the new roleplay it'd generate.

Maybe TBH could play the "incumbents", or the ones in power while the others are looking to remove them. Just thoughts.

it was a thought, but i take it some 'same ID cant shoot me' issues would arise, so it was discarded, basically. i'm still open to do it, though. not really to take over, but more like to annex a base or two for just one faction. something far from the corsair home system. like etna or mindelo or something.

anyone remember the rebel benitez? how did that go?

If it is between the official factions and you all agree to ignore the can't shoot the same ID, you'd be fine. You however can't go around shooting indy Corsairs because they won't side with you against one of the other Corsair factions.

I think it would make for some very interesting role play, it would pull in other factions too.

Welcome Back Zelot:)

Ill be a stick in the mud and just say that I find the whole "civil war" routine to be boring and tedious, not to mention every time it's happened in the past it ends up stirring up bad blood and usually ends up with Admins involved in some way. Added to that, no one ever "wins" them as such and it just turns into an excuse to PVP people who have the same ID as you.

Civil war to me = uncreative Role Play, it's been done. I know, feel free to disagree, just my 5c.

This.

If both sides agree to it, and agree to keep indies out of the conflict unless those indies voluntarily join in, you're fine. You'll have to notify Cannon and likely answer some questions before beginning it though.

Perhaps best would be to organizes events against the OC and RH in sigmas and Omegas.

Civil wars are... interesting... but at the same time...extremely touchy. Unless the whole civil war is organized like an event (if X win, A happens. If Z wins, B Happens. Etc)

For certain things, players can agree to set aside any rules they choose.

Civil war played out by agreement = possible.
Civil war because faction x thinks faction y are nubtards = not likely.

But I think TBH are nubtards and I still want to do it.
