However, exercise of that authority, on the forums and in game, is restricted to official faction members with the rank of the official faction leader and one rank below him/her

Most factions have two members in the 2IC position and from what I understand both of them can use the FR2.

Snak3, try using common sense before asking questions like '€œall those "Members" will be able to use FR2?'€ That would qualify as '€œusing a loophole'€ and if you read the responsibilities associated with FR2 you'€™ll find this:

'€œOfficial faction members should strive to follow the spirit of the server rules to the best of their ability, and avoid rules-lawyering, loopholing, or exploiting their knowledge for personal gain.'€

In the Bounty Hunters Guild, we chat about stuff on the skype before any kind of FR2 is asked for. I'm still the titualr head of the Guild, just not able to be very active for a while in game due to RL stuff. (Fortunately, work does still allow me to be on the forums.)

Thus, we have Monte and Dash as 2iC's, but also each of them is in charge of a different branch. Monte is in charge of the Core and all their self-righteous stuff, and Dash is in charge of House hunters.

Back when I led the LPI, I was Chief and there were technically 3 Deputy Chiefs, however I said Hack was the '2IC' as far as the ranks went, even though the others were technically the same rank. So something similar to that could happen for the rule, I guess (if other factions don't already do it that way).
