This 'Clan' is still in development. Not in-game yet. Nothing here is written in stone. If you don't like the import idea of an 'Ork species' then do say so. I'll take it under serious consideration. I'm interested to know how the community will feel about this. All feedback in this thread please. Our in-game Roleplay speech will be bad grammar, spelling, punctuation, very rude and hostile. No formal and well presented text. Lots of yelling, chanting & insulting (tastefully). Will be like the following: Link

[font=Comic Sans MS]Orks are a warlike, crude, and highly aggressive green-skinned alien race. They genetically engineered for combat and the smallest of the Ork race is larger than most humans. They are not the most intelligent creatures and their exact origin is not known. They know nothing of smart, aesthetically pleasing weapons and structures and instead build and field weapons that function and intimidate than look classy. Barbaric and incredibly violent, many Orks are not afraid to die in the face of a foe and end up being killed by their superiors if caught fleeing a fight. Fear is their most powerful weapon and they overwhelm and tear apart their enemy.
Their cross-breeding with fungi allows them to reproduce asexually, which explains the lack of Ork females. This reproductive process basically involves the dispersion of spores from a decomposing Ork corpse, such that killing an Ork literally creates more Orks, explaining why Orks are such a difficult enemy to combat and how, along with their extreme physical hardiness, they can very easily infiltrate and build up large populations virtually anywhere. The only known solution to this problem is to incinerate the entire area to destroy all Orks and Ork spores. Because Orks are so genetically similar to plants and fungi, their diets are extremely flexible - Orks can be used not only as meat, but also as yeast and phytochemical-containing fibrous plantlike sides.
The Orks are an enormous race from a far off Galaxy from which no Human records know of. The Sirian Orks arrived in the far edge Omicron Kappa system at late 818 AS. Their very large 'space hulk' spaceship that is mechanically laughable to any Human or indeed, alien race is made from spare parts and wrecks, crashed into the Planet Primus. The Orks on board, consisting of a few hundred were alone for weeks and scrapped their space hulk to use the materials to build shelters and crude weapons to survive with.
Their bodies quickly adapted to the planets climate and the radiation that left the previous settlers dead. Their equipment and supplies that aged nearly 350 years were still on the planet and the Orks, in natural instinct, salvaged it. They managed to pull together a few space ships and charted their new home in the Kappa system.
~ Rest is to be continued. Further story development will be written with in-game/RP forum actions, on allies, enemies, our next steps and discoveries.

Boyz
Boyz are the most common form of Ork, they are for the meat grinder and make act a living shield to allow the more powerful Orks to deal their damage.
Kommandoz
Considered to be epitomy of Ork cunning, they work as units behind enemy lines in order to create havoc and confusion, they are more knowledgeable into Ork warfare.
'Ard Boyz
Ardboyz are heavily armoured Ork Boyz who wear 'Eavy Armour. In the Ork hierarchy, 'Ard Boyz tend to hold a position just below Nobs.
Nobz
Nobz are the ruling class of the Ork race. Larger and more aggressive than other Orks they act a squad leaders or fight together in their own mobs. Nobz have access to the best equipment, weapons and armour and are often found fighting in groups with other similarly equippen Nobz.
Warboss
The Warboss leader of an Ork warband or tribe; he is always the biggest, strongest and most cunning Ork in any given grouping of such creatures, and gets the best armour, weapons, and equipment. A particularly powerful warboss is often known as a Warlord, though in practice they can take any title they choose.

~ [color=#009900]The Facts ~
We will be using Pirate IDs, No IFFs. Civilian ships and mostly the ugly ones. We might try and get alliances with some groups in the Omicrons and try and gain equipment and ship sharing. Who knows? So much potential, lets not spoil it yet though. We won't be in Houses or Taus yet. Our ZOI will be the None-nomad Omicrons for now.
Some Rules Of The Group:
Once in combat, fight to the death. Retreat is not an option.
Insult your opponents all the time
Be blood thirsty (But not a PvP whore)
Yell "WAAAGH!" before going into combat
Gork & Mork are your gods
Word Changes -
Credits - Teef
Pulse Cannon - Zzap gun

Part of the conditions for using the pirate ID is that you must have an IFF. I'd suggest Xeno Guard, 1) because it's hostile to just about everyone on the server, and 2) it would be amusingly ironic.
The ]NTF[ never used an IFF 'til near the end there and never got sanctioned, mostly because to the best of my knowledge that rule was removed for being, well, stupid.
And if it hasn't been I'd go ahead and do it anyway.

I'll leave any other potential feedback at that.
(You really love making factions, don't you?)
Xeno Guard wouldn't work. But thanks for alerting me about the Pirate IFF rule. Damn annoyance.

Hm, it's just Freelancers isn't what Orks are, they are a clan of barbarians, not self-serving people.
' Wrote:Pure pwnage, nothing more nothing less. And needs moar dakka.

If it was removed, awesome! Can someone get a confirm on the rule?
Oh great... where's my Ork codex of the latest edition?
On a serious note:
Well, why not? We have many chars here that use Space Marine pics for their faces or pics from the WH40K universe in general and believe they're awesome.
And i have to agree with you. Right now it looks like an early alpha stage. With careful planning, who knows, maybe you can annoy some boudy-boyz or ze ordaz:crazy:

Before the SCRA got their own faction, they used Xeno for an IFF. Exactly the same reason - it would appear as hostile to the most people. Doesn't actually have to reflect your RP ideological leanings. Down to you anyway.

Really? Wow, didn't know that. Guess I should consider it then. I'll see what others suggest first tho.
