Where does it say that reading through every request you get, even if you have no intention of granting them is a responsibility of being a faction?

Hell if I know. I haven't read the faction rights.

But it's common sense.

You are given the right to control your faction's tech, then you should have the responsibility to review all applications.

I grant hardly any tech either, I'm very stingy with LR tech. But I read every single request that gets brought to my attention, just incase there's someone who deserves it.

Quite frankly your attitude is not becoming of a faction leader. You're acting more like a spoiled brat.

When other players have the consideration to not simple post a message asking for my factions technology when their character has no relation to my faction, I'll review them.

That is a pathetic reason.

Why? Because I don't agree with you? The Corsair Empire has decided for various reasons not to let it's tech out. If that is the policy, why should I waste my time reading the stories? Seriously? You have said we are allowed to deny all the requests, so if that is the case, why should we be forced to waste our time? That is a serious question.

So basically, not waiting for obvious answer, I declare that denying requests, which has low quality roleplay behind it, for PvP advantage is and should be continued.

Also, why nobody mentioned D. Jameson as person completly in control of OC technology? Since he fiercely defends it without public statement "you won't get it easily"?

If you don't want the responsibility then give it to someone else. Seems pretty simple to me.

Factions have rights and responsibilities. You can't have your cake and eat it to.

To throw my two unwanted cents in, in this case it would be more the faction safeguarding its technology and roleplay.

The factions are given the responsibility for their technology. That's it. How they choose to use that responsibility is just that - their choice. The Corsair factions don't want their tech freely usable by outsiders. That's their choice. We might not agree on it, but that's their right as official factions.

At least you've got three factions that agree on tech usage. God forbid if we ever got the Zoners to come to a consensus.

My opinion would be that you're acting like a spoiled brat, who thinks the world revolves around them, and that you need to get your feet back on the ground and realise that being a faction leader doesn't make you a God.

With great power comes great responsibility, but absolute power corrupts absolutely.

And it's quite apparant that the Corsair leadership has become quite corrupt with power.

You're gonna get requests whether you like it or not. On the off chance there's a tech request you'll agree to then I think you owe it to them to read through them.

If you don't wanna read them, then get someone who does want to.

Oddly enough, I'm not a Corsair leader. Oddly enough, your opinion is rather funny. Seeing as you don't know me, nor do you know how I handle Zoner tech requests.

Perhaps you should refrain from forming opinions until such a time as you are knowledgeable in regards to the subject?
