for all that matters, i would expect a BHG gunship to be superior to a rogue gunship. - the BHG has considerable more cash to put into developement and hightech than the rogues. - with that in mind, its amazing how good the rogue gunboat is.

in terms of "making every ship the same", the rogue gunboat appears to be a little behind, but that makes things more interesting. - i would hate it if every ship was the same and only the looks were different.

I have the new Rogue gb, didnt have the old one, so cant compare, but I like the design being similar to other rogue ships, the stats seem ok, probably not the most manuverable, but powerplant makes up for it, so no complaints, I say keep the new one

Indeed. Each ship has its ups and downs. If you can keep your distance the Bretonian Battleship can slaughter an Outcast Dreadnought, but the minute you're closer than 2k you're screwed because the Dreadnought can hit you with every volley, and his volleys are stronger than yours, and he has more armor. The Blood Dragon Cruiser's great at mauling other cruisers and ships bigger than itself (in groups, of course) but give it a Gunboat or a Destroyer to shoot at and it'll never hit it because the power's in the forward gun, which, of course, is none too accurate. If all the ships were the same I'd cry...

Look, you cant just go around and say " Oh, i think that ship sucks! Lets remove it! ", since, thats basicly what your doing Lancer. Everytime you dislike something, "it sucks" or " should be removed". Well, if you ask me, there is nothing wrong with the new rogue gunboat. Great desing, and a battleship in a propper pilots hands. Hell, i took down whole armies with Impaler Snowborn. Just ask Morgan, im sure he remembers my bragging about how the TBH did poof, and how a liberty battleship attacked me for no reason, tried to run, and did poof too! [/brag]

to answer the ppl who saying Liberty Rogue don't have good money sources..don't forget outcast is backing them up, or hacker....and..i am not dislike the Rogue gunboat, i only dislike the model,it's like a transport, i change the ship or i just left the character there, after it changed. and i did fight some Rogue gunboats before..i can hit them with cerberus in my battlecruiser..because they are tall, and fat, and only has 6 gun.(which can't do much, can't dodge well, is a big target..)

Leave my battle barge alone! The new Rogue GB looks like a rogue vessel, and for that it fit's more than any pawnzor vessel you could think of. No Rogue vessel is pretty, the LF's look like flying gooses and the HF's and above are all ugly as hell, the Mule is a ...well mule, and the Barghest looks like someone welded a few bits and pieces onto a wolfhound and hoped for the best. Yes the Rogues are backed by the Outcasts, but in the same way that McDonalds used to back the IRA, at arms length. We don't get huge volumes of cash flooding into Buffalo base, we get a trickle and some cardi, the Lane Hackers get the cash and they only pay us when they want something for that cash. Rogues fund themselves through piracy and extortion. Thusly having a sleeker, fitter gunboat doesn't fit it in my opinion.

In short take away my battle barge and I'll kick you in the shins.
