We are mercenaries. Not diplomats.
I must agree here, factions who were shoot from you should not give you contracts and they should be dead hostile to you. At least this is what I understand under RP. Oucasts and Hessians kissing and hugging Reavers and giving them contracts is ridiculous and lame from any RP perspective, especially after the Reavers shot many ships of this factions. But it is not Reavers problem, it is problem for the people who hire them.

Commenting about the "no mixing tech from hostile factions" is pointless until an Admin comes here and states what exactly are hostile factions. Because really, that has to be the least clear rule ever.

While not our issue, in their defense, while the Reavers have destroyed countless numbers of Outcast and Hessian vessels it isn't lame and ridiculous on their part to hire us. As I told Cannon when he told me shooting him on his [Admin] character wasn't wise, "The best way to ensure we don't shoot you and yours is to hire us, monsieur." We are but a weapon designed to be wielded by the person with the most credits, you can't fault a person for wanting a weapon he knows from personal experience to be quite effective can you?
The technician took his screwdriver from his box and examined the muzzle.
"Hmm, over-heating I'd say."
The mercenary finished eating his cigar and washed it down with something awful from a hip flask.
"So you can fix it, yes?"
The technician went through the histrionics of repairmen the galaxy over, inhaling through clenched teeth, shaking his head and demonstrating with his eyebrows that he was performing some complex mental arithmetic involving addition and multiplication and base 60.
"Yeah, sure, but you know, the parts may not be in stock, and things being what they are with the backlog of work I have..."
The mercenary groaned inwardly.
"Let me see what I can do."
He set to work. Around half an hour in to cleaning the coolant tube, he noticed the unusual design of the other cannons on the ship. Peering closely at the information panel on one of the ...was it a pulse gun?....he read
[font=Fixedsys]"Made in Gamma by Pirating Bastard Corsair Enterprises. Point business end at miners."
Throwing down his screwdriver, he stormed off to complain to the shop foreman, who was asleep in his office, dreaming about radishes, strangely enough.

I got to take Reaver side on this part.
Its not oorp or ridiculous they get payed from other side and then work for them....its others side mistake.
For example : I'm sure corsair would never hire reavers again. Since their RP is honor, pride bla bla bla.
For example : if they would betray faction I was part of, I would make sure they don't get hired after they shoot our members.
So it is your mistake for giving out tech then getting backstabbed. We're in space and you're dealing with bunch of people who would kill their own family for money. Watch your back
P.S. For zelot and alvin : the situation escalated to this after you used your mod powers for legit feedback. I'm sure you can stay out of perfectly ok discussions until we hear from faction itself. Jumping immediately into the discussing with your fancy letters without situation getting out of control is obvious sign of protecting friends, not being objective. And its not a big deal, but we had to point that out. Cheers.
No more discussion on Silver Reaver's two lines of OOC chat unless it happens again. It's been mentioned, it didn't need to be, but it was, okay. It was, however, presented through the use of edited screenshots, and it was presented in a hostile and rude manner. From years upon years of evidence, we all know being hostile and rude in a faction feedback gets you nowhere. Fix this, or don't post in feedback threads. This also goes for those who responded in hostile and rude manners.
And now we end the conversation on Silver Reaver's lines of OOC. If it happens again, post in here if you like, but we've beaten that horse to a bloody pulp on this one instance. Further posts on the OOC issue will be removed.
If there are to be any further discussions on the matter of Kalliste's ooc, please refrain from posting them here. Take it to pm's if you must. This is the final warning before further action will be implemented.

Not really.....Corsairs and IMG being hostile is mod lore, and ya know....the way it's always been, the way it always will be.
It may have something to do with the repeated and egregious mass piracy of their transports, but really, how is that clear?
And ye know, the problem with yer diplomacy isn't switching sides. That happens. It's trying to work for both sides at the same time.
gone four years, first day back: Zoners still getting shot in Theta :|
The tech issue has already been cleared up by Athenian. No further comments are needed.
If you have an issue with the people we work for:
Take it up with them.
There is vanilla precedent that factions have used the same mercenary company against each other and there is nothing wrong with a mercenary group trying to play both sides of the fence. Is it dangerous? Probably.
I know you use quite a variety of different ships and guns, sometimes, as shown above in "bad" ways. But I'm not gonna bring that up again. Instead, I am curious to see the tech requests for those guns and ships. Can I? : D
