It has come to my attention that Cannon (or maybe you if this is Cannon reading) has sent a message to the Leader of ALG and now RWM. For confidentiality I will not copy and paste this message here, but it basically asks us to name what primary ID we'll use and what NPC faction we'll represent. We first started thinking about what options we have, but I came along and took a new perspective. Now, instead of giving you our options I'm gonna give you yours. These options have been agreed on from the members of RWM

Option 1: You make us a new ID, a new IFF, a new Reputation bar, redo the bases and rewrite all the "to do with us" pieces of text

Option 2: You let us fly under two IDs

To be honest, I made these two options, so I do not want you to take action against anyone else if you decide to demolish my couple of years of work, but you must understand that I will take all responses extremely personally. So be empathetic, put yourself in my socks, if you were fighting for your company, how would you feel? I thankyou for your consideration.

edit: Option 3: You drop both factions, leaving the spaces open for others to fill, play your new faction under a generic ID, become official and after a year or so, you apply for your own ID.

Edit# But to be honest, I'm Edit2# and several others are actually in favour of your idea. Well, the idea of dropping the merge. I like ALG the way it was. Peaceful and undisturbed.

Official faction was ALG and Kruger. You can't merge on your own since you circumvent 30 hours activity rule and one faction per ID.

One faction per ID, yes. But nowhere does it say 1 ID per faction.

official factions must use a unified id. BUT if you dont want to become official, you can just take a dump on the official factions rules, so meh.

I'm ganna be honest Ath, this goes for the entire admin team as well as you.

An ID takes five seconds to implement. It's some writing and an update with cannon's updater.

It shouldn't have to take a year, and nobody's going to want to wait a year. Apply for official status, yeah, dandy and all, but having your own ID should be a right that comes with officiality. You know as well as I do the majority of official factions do not and will not ever be getting their own IDs, for reasons I still fail to understand.

Now seriously. If you can't keep faction active, step down. Maybe there are people who might wish to bring faction back to glory once again.

If you use two IDs than start as an unofficial faction since you are new.

EDIT: and sort of taking the general idea behind activity requirements as a faction and the general aims for "1 official faction per ID"

I raise this.

As to the "Step down so someone else can try." That argument is silly. If a person wants to take that faction in a different direction or start it fresh, they can rally people to them and try. Despite what it might feel like, there aren't 100 people lurking in the shadows to suddenly burst fourth with their fantastic RP and activity.
If there was an official faction already, it might have held weight.
