LOL, I'm going to open my skype for a couple of high-activity hours and then show you the ammount of piled up messages.
If I remember right, my record was around 7500 messages or so. (Around 6000 coming from the same convo)

That stuffs happen when you're in too many multiple convos.
(In my case, over 10).

Just leave some or use /alertsoff command if it gets too painful.
