Up until now I've been playing with Vsync off because I liked how much more smooth the gameplay became (and the only time I would experience screen tearing would be during jumps, which I could live with), but it seems that it messes a great deal with the FL engine, as it causes this infamous jitter.

I'm really sorry. I wasn't aware of it until someone pointed me to this.

Once again I'm sorry. That wasn't my intention at all and I have turned Vsync on again.

Try to download DXtory and cap fps at 120

Guys , you just need to cut of those over 180 FPS craps i've seen on some playars .
The game is NOT smoother at 200 FPS , you just KNOW you can avoid incoming fire .

Play it at 75 FPS , then try it at 120 FPS , you will see no noticeable difference .

Thats all .

But since some of you got banned/sanctioned , all of you just started crying that you ar eplaying at over 180 FPS .

Nice .

No I didnt know that it would glitch out.
And it is noticable to see 120fps from 75fps differences.
also having a higher fps gives you a fighting advantage, smoother to move etc.

@ Cata: Higher FPS can eliminate the mouse lag, which shoudn't exist above 100 FPS.
@ Mister corsair: The report has already been submitted, in fact the same day that the video was uploaded, your post here won't change anything despite showing a "Ididn'tknowomg". I had met that very character several times in the past and you -didn't- jitter.

It's up to 'em greens.

I'm more interested in the person who shares report material with the people being reported...

If you want to keep the smooth gameplay and not jitter, you can always leave vsync off and use dxtory to cap your FPS at something well below 180.

Nope, I make all my videos public, including this stuff, that's all. I didn't even know who this guy is until I was linked to this thread.

How do I turn vsync off? I downloaded Dxtory, capped FPS at 120, but it's still 60.
