Achievements

I don't know where to post this, so i don't mind if it's moved to a better location.

I would like the mods to give me their opinion on the following idea:

A thread similar to the ones IMG, Liberty Rogues and SCRA have where people can post something on the lines of:

Character: -------
Faction:-----------

RP posts:

Comms-----------
Bounties----------
Stories------------

With each character posted users unlock achivements, meaning custom user titles like:
Police officer
Bounty hunter
Pirate
Navy pilot
Smuggler
Trader
Miner
Nomad

These should have various degrees like master trader, expert bounty hunter etc
Combination of these primary achievements should yield advanced achievements.
I bet we could put our minds to it and make up some great ones.

This should incourage people to RP more and diversify their characters for more achievements.
If anyone has any suggestions for custom user titles or improving the system please post them here.

LE: Also, can you add pictures to the user titles on this type of board, we can make some of those too.

I like the idea of having achievements just because we can (in some form or shape) and I am sure it may motivate people to do <stuff>.
edit: Actually, I've seen this kind of system on FL servers like HC already and it worked there pretty well (mind you it's a pvp server tho) and other gaming communities.

I'd also recomment adding one for people, who donated to the server.

But certainly this idea will be bombarded by the "there is some problem with RP" nonsense.

Not too bad of an idea, interested to see if it ever does come out. (Which I am required to doubt, seeing the past track of history, but one can hope)
