worth watching imo - it is about anger in gaming. they make good points - especially in terms of self value and self perception - enjoyment and the utmost urge to change things to your liking.

I'm actually quite glad about being a 'digital native'. And I can't wait to see how things will be in like 50 years, in regards to our rather young 'internet society'. Considering that the young generations already are spoiled with 'social' networks, online gaming and other evil things. I see bad times coming.

I think the penny arcade team summed it up nicely with this theory.

Luckily I'm not an arsehole... I'm against lolwuts and trolls on serious gaming communities but I don't give a thing about people who getting yelled on twitter; twitter is made for that.. And why care about being trolled on twitter. It's your own fault that you are on / using twitter anyway...

Simple answer...the perosn you are behaving an arsehole like to is....NOT...directly infront of you....It is easy to insult and ridicule when the target is 100 or a 1000 miles away from you. Too many self absorbed techHeads with no Real Life experience. Technology has surpased our ability as a species to manage it.

I do it all the time also not only online so when my woman asks me why I behave like arsehole I answer because I am arsehole, this is how I roll..

Not quite sure how to comment on the statement.

Though I am pretty sure that "the internet" has simply given us the tools to express how or what we actually are. As a person or as a species. The challenge is to embrace and change it.

The internet has a serious impact on the social skills of people, but I wouldn't say its the internet's fault ~ most cases are local, within the family ~ what education do these people get, and how they use&exploit it in the digital world. Though this does not kill the idea of personalities, I know a lot of people ( including here ) who love to pretend they are criminal keyboards but are really tards in the real-life, vice versa.
Also, it is easier nower days to communicate over the web and include emotions into it, but its very hard to defend it. I think the golden rule of "idiots go dig a hole" also applies on the internet.

Were fools to make war on our brothers in arms.
