Event proposition: Farmers versus Xenos

I want to propose this event for tomorrow, or a later date, depends on what everyone agrees to.

Participants:
[AFA] and XA in equal numbers;
One Synth food transport and one Samura transport. (Or maybe we can use freighters)

Location: Kepler

Premise:
Farmers follow a Synth food transport from Shikoku into Kepler in order to destroy it.
Xenos follow a Samura transport from Colorado to Kepler in order to destroy it.

They meet half way into Kepler and pew's ensue with the obligatory trash talk.

For the purpose of fairness and fun, the transport pilots after they die should be allowed to log a fighter and join the fight.
Discuss.

Couple of things. One: Half-way point in the system is a big no-no. Would need to be two lanes to our JG or your JG from ames. We dun' shoot up the space around the station that provides us radiation meds. Two: Maybe consider having the transports together? There's some pretty OP battle transports for versing fighters. Pelicans, for example. I'm not a fan of an event dooming a side to die. If it's an issue, maybe consider adding another faction to the mix or freelancer escorts?

Two battle transports with decent armor versus XA/AFA. AFA attacks synth foods, we attack.. well, we could attack either of them but the Samura would be fine. I'm assuming this'll be a fighters-only event for the sake of the transports not being lolraped in 10 seconds. Also, tomorrow is a bit short notice. Would prefer two weeks from now, as we're already in quite a large event this weekend.

By the way, who will be flying these transports? Your side or a neutral party? Don't believe any of my members have Samura or Synth Foods transports.

And is there any reason for this event or just pews? Don't believe we've ever had any talks with AFA in general. Could be mistaken, but if so that'd be way before my time.

The point is to have fun, why do i even have to write this? Farmers versus Rednecks like Lyth said, it's hilarious.

Ok if it's not Kepler it's Galileo, we can use Rhinos for the transports, that's just the RP reason behind it, we have two xenophobic groups so close to each other and they never meet cause they don't leave their ZOI.

But whatever, it's just a proposition, if it's not elitist enough i'm sorry. I don't take myself that seriously.

You seem to misunderstand my reply. It's not meant to shoot this down, simply improve it. As for "not being elitist enough" I'm not elitist in the slightest. Look at our recruitment page. I dumbed it down so much, because it got to the point where having merely not bad RP'ers was better than not being out there at all.

Think you're taking constructive feedback a bit too personally. Take a step back, breathe, and read it again seriously instead of a personal attack on your idea.

Being that it's an event, I would LIKE for this to have some sort of RP basis or RP that would go on in relation to it. Maybe something with the corsairs, we're in business with them. Believe AFA has something going on with them too, could be mistaken.
